Oh lawd, any day within 90 degrees is just awful! Two years ago was our hottest summer in ages, it was like living in a place like Arizona with no air conditioning burning_eyes
Maybe you could look into portable AC units? idk how much they run for, but perhaps you could find one used at an inexpensive price :3
