ur probably the smartest one of us for not applying to harvard. i've always loved los angeles, and i probably wouldn't have applied anywhere else besides ucla if my folks hadn't threatened to withdraw their share of tuition payments. (i wrote a very sappy letter to ucla comparing them to a love song and drew pictures to go along with it) i'm still in the process of negotiating with Gtown and Virginia Law over scholly money ><; (i love gtown but the folks want uchicago law since it's better ranked ;A; )

They do have a joint program with the bus. school, but I'm in Steinhardt.

NYU's beautiful. i really wanted to go except they weren't too generous with the scholly money ^^; (probably because my grades bite)

aww man, u got wled by harvard too? i remember those being some of the worst months of my life... and then my folks grounded me that summer when i didn't get off of it. and then i got grounded again when i withdrew my acceptance from duke to go to ucla... and now the law school cycle's about to end (thank goodness for being 21)

Naw, first I was deferred from Early Action, then rejected on "Ivy Day".
There was only one person who got into Harvard this year and she was
recruited as an athlete (swimmer) over a bunch of internationally ranked
mathematicians at my school, so, well, I just shake my head at that.

But good for you for picking somewhere you love over a name. I find too
many Asians just pick whatever's ranked highest which is pretty dumb.
