Well, he has to have something to counter the fact that he's a chrono/aeromancer and that he's easy to get along with. It'd make more sense if he was abusive with his powers, but not in the BOOM, BOOM, KILL EVERYTHING sense. More like he's too smashed to think straight or use them properly.
Though Drunk Jean would also be angsty Jean and end up crying over how he killed his family and lost everyone he loved.

I don't think Jean should be using downers. O ____o; what with his Uber depressive back story. And with his flirty nature and how 'happy' he is... it would just click more, in my mind, that he would make sure he stayed that happy creature everyone thinks he is. So, I'd say he'd be an upper user when he's feeling blue. And well, a chrono/aeromancer on Uppers would be hella scary at times.

Well Raleigh's lived in a tower since she was like... 3. And has been studying demoniacs since she was like... 8, in order to fulfill a promise she made to her father.
And then they let her out one day 10 years later, and she decided to put her theory to the test, so kidnapped some children, dragged them back to the tower, raped them, hacked them up, then had fun with their entrails. Of course, this was shocking and horrifying, so everyone locked her back up in the tower again.
But she got out the window and did it again. And again. And again and so on and so forth. Using the same method to try and summon demons.
She's like a guro-*****, really.
