i'm okay with regular rainy storms but dust storms are SCARY

If I was doing this by paper and pencil, it'd be a lot easier. sad Drawing on a tablet is still really like, weird to me, so I don't really enjoy it as much. ;_; But I want to get better at it soo badly...

teehee i have like a really nice wacom tablet gathering dust...i asked for it while i was still in my gaia phase...i haven't been able to bring myself to resell it, maybe i'll try to do some art or graphics with it this summer so that i'm not a complete and utter waste of money

I love my wacom ;u; I use it quite often, but not so much that I'm getting good with it. e__e and yeah, needing to practice x1000 is definitely the only way to get better at something...
speaking of a waste of money, i have this piano that i still need to teach myself how to play D: its so hard asdfsf sigh. let me see your art!

aaaah i envy people who are good at piano! i have this one friend who can like, figure out any pop song on piano and i'm like "WAT". i'm not musically gifted ;__; but it will be fun to play once you get pretty decent, i'm sure c:

lol the last time i drew something was like, years ago...i tried doing art when i was first on gaia but as it turned out i was better at graphics XD i'm doing a little chib sketch of my current avatar right now, if i finish it i'll take a picture with my itouch or something and then you can see the extent of my artistic fail~

WAIT it's not even pencil is it orz okay your art is awesomesauce already. don't even worry about it.
i hate that after-nap grogginess...sometimes you wake up feeling refreshed and energized and other times it's like BLEARGH I BROKE MY BRAIN.

aah, i quit the violin this year XD i liked it and i was pretty decent, but my orchestra director chose to put a freshman in our chamber orchestra instead of me (so she wouldn't have to go through the struggle of finding another member once i left)...and i wasn't about to put myself through another year of her, sooo... razz plus my private lessons were $60 an hour.

teehee, we'll see XD i took a picture of the messy sketch and then i sketched over it in PS. I'll line and color tomorrow maybe? I have my volunteer shift at the local hospital then...four hours of complete boredom and NO COMPUTERS FFFUUU

Aah, well, the best student violinist in our state was concertmaster of our chamber orchestra so...everyone was musically ungifted compared to her razz
It'd be nice to be in chamber and play all their cool music and go to New York for a trip but that's just not possible with our ridic director. Plus I worked out an arrangement with our registrar to take my final semester of PE as a zero hour (which is when chamber is) second semester my senior year.

for realz. do everything you want to. don't worry about time because if you want to do it, you'll make time for it c: it's not a choice of whether more time towards yearbook or more time towards art, it's MORE TIME FOR EVERYTHING. /asian mentality

I'm sure if you really really wanted something to happen, you'd find a way for it to happen. c: There's a difference between velleity and actual desire, after all.

And yeah! If I really want to dedicate myself to something, spend time on something, it'd happen anyway, right? :0 I don't want to join CORE and find myself spending more time on something I'd rather not be doing. sad See, the wishy-washy-ness of that statement already describes how unsuited I am for the position. I'm a very fickle person, crey. e__e

I don't want to rush myself, though. I haven't found myself regretting anything very much - if I like the way my life is now, then why regret anything I haven't done? There is always the future! But that's my two cents. ;D

Actually we kind of suck as a state educationally...Cali's way better XD My school happens to be one of the best public schools, I think? We're in a pretty wealthy neighborhood, so the school gets a lot of funding for AP tests and such. And you know how Asian parents flock to the 'good schools'...

Eh, I don't want it THAT much, ahaha...

I see c: That's perfectly fine! Just do what you want~ aka the philosophy that led me to abandon online econ today...but it's really easy since I self-studied both AP econs this year, so idgaf XD

Eh, I'm in a ghetts place. It's not really nice, but it's not really bad. California schools are pretty impacted, and there are a lot of schools in one area. My school has like, 2400 students, and that number is rising pretty quickly. It's not even a large school. sad Classes run around 40 students each. We're losing funding because of budget cuts, so a lot of the schools lack the materials needed! Why, in the beginning in the year, my Spanish teacher only had like, 125 dollars to buy whatever it is she needed for that whole entire year! That's so little! D:

Never force yourself to do something you don't need to do! It just makes it worse... but at the same time, there are necessary evils...

Abandon online econ? surprised The AP civics/econ class at my school isn't very good. sad The pass rate for the AP test isn't that high, either.

Aah yeah, your budget's in a bit of pinch isn't it :c Our school is around that size, perhaps a bit larger - my class is around 700 students - though they did impose a paper limit in the middle of the year. XD
That really is a tiny amount of money O: Kids here have TONS of Spanish worksheets and stuff...

Yeah, I probably should have worked on it today but I kind of browsed the internet all day~ Whee. It's not that much work anyway to be honest. Online classes are kind of a joke...
Dude, AP Econ was hard...I wasn't very diligent about self-studying. Macro went good, I'm pretty sure I got at least a 4, but Micro...omg I had no idea what I was doing. I'd be happy to get a 4. Or even a 3.
