I never knew this, but it makes complete sense.. I mean duh... when one part of the world is thrown in darkness, the other part of the world would (of course) have the opposite, yet corresponding Solstice or Equinox!

Yeah. I used to live in the Northern Hemisphere so, when I first moved here, it was pretty confusing.

Oh yeah, most definitely. ...Well, maybe not. It's summer and we're supposed to be melting in heat but a few days ago, some places got snow. I'm not complaining though. I much prefer the weather we've got now than what we're supposed to have.

@Katy: Places in the Southern Hemisphere got snow? O.O I would think that breaks the law of nature or something. But at the same time, I'm not much of a fan of the temperature going over 70 degrees F. So, having cooler weather is fine with me. XD

@Katy: Well, I can understand the Southern Hemisphere getting snow but not when the Northern Hemisphere is going through the winter season. I mean, the Southern Hemisphere is going through the summer season right now, right? So having snow now would be odd. ^_^;;
