Well, I'm trying to start a school mag with a friend (He's graphics; I'm the mock-editor-in-chief). Anyway, I have two articles to edit. They're opinion pieces, which are hard to edit as I don't want to change their opinions by accident, and even though I told them to make their drafts more solid and send them back, they ended up making their pieces worse. Actually, only the one person, because the other one hasn't sent me another draft stare . Uuugh. Plus, I take chemistry on an online course, and I haven't done any of the lessons I need in order to do a test due on monday. Boo. gonk

EDIT: Lol! I'll *try* not to eat the iPod thing, but I don't know if I'll be able to control myself. After all, I often have strange yearnings to eat computer chips.

ewww chemestry *used to live with most of the chemestry department at her local uni* they where always filling the kitchen with smoke and making weird and wonderfull bongs out of the glass ware stressed and then there was the time they had this fuming nitric acid and had it in a bottle that got knocked over and burnt a huge whole in the floor so none of us got our deposits back. AND after they spilt it and had run of for masks etc... they started flciking copper pennys at it making a horrible brown smoke fill the house gonk stressed crying

LMAO! I am glad I do not want to go into science, and I think I will share that little anecdote with my annoying "friend" that is trying to force me into a chemistry or physics related career.

One article is about gay rights, but...here, I'll share a sentance and you''ll see:

The other article is supposed to be a sort of advice column It's about these outlines we need to do in school, and there is a fake letter asking if it is ethical to give the outlines to a little sister who will be taking the class next year. It's not the best, most-convincing argument, but at least it's better than what the writer's original opinion was: cheating is okay, because outlines are stupid.

gonk surly if they where going to even bring god into a pro-gay argumet it should only be to say that what god "says" can only be a point of argument if his teachings are a logical and understandable argument which they aren't (or at least 'because god says so isn't) so although you may have anti-gay opinions you should damn well have a better reason than 'god says so' to back them up. Christians can twist the bible to say what they want them to say anyway and is a pointless and annoying get out of jail free card for those who don't care to think about the opinions they preach. (this doens't mean to say all christians don't think about why god might have said what he said but simply to point out 'god says this' isn't a valid argument in any discussion, there has to be a 'because there some where sweatdrop )

maybe you should get some Q&Fer arguments for your articles, they know more about everything than most people and are real task masters with good spelling, grammer (which is why I don't fit in), essay structure and articulation 3nodding
