Don't be discouraged 3nodding especially if you like a language, who knows, you might find it useful if you ever travel to China someday.

Trading around so much items is a hassle for me, so much time wasted looking for buyers/sellers. I used to love the exchange, but now most of my old friends from it have dissapeared, it just gives me a headache.

You should see my old conversations with my exchange buddies.

Me: It wouldn't be hard for you to get every donation item, since you have both bear hats and easter slippers.

Him: The halo is really skyrocketing, wished I joined this site earlier.

Me: Me too, then I wouldn't have to quest at all.

The admins also freeze every account the hacker interacts with >.< so it's good that you didn't take items from that hacker xd

I was an exchange junkie just long enough to get my minis sash and tail back when the minis where 50k (n/m's at the time) and now it juuust gives me a head ache. Though the market place isn't so bad, less noobs, though everything is over priced crying

I would love to take maderin up again, I went to school in a really chinese area in london and every one spoke it so I know my hellos and good byes, but a lot of my friends after finishing high school/a-levels all went back to family and all have said if I wanted to take a trip out there they would house me for a week etc.. so it would be so nice to see loads of china and all my old friends in one!
But I really believe you can't really see a country without being at least basic in the language, but its sooo hard crying

also, the only reason he was caught was because he didn't remember to gift box the items he sent to him self (the technique 'robin hood hacking' means you gift box every item you steal so the admins can't trave who got what and if they had it before because the log says 'gift box recived' etc... and if they are sending out at random to 50+ people its hard and then the items go through many accounts etc.. its hard to know who to ban) so the admins knew he recived the rare items.

I am personally glad he got caught, I am a web designer (when I can be arse to get work) and he kept nagging me to make www.gaiaoffline.com (which is a domain I already own) into a password stealing site gonk sweatdrop

I speak it because I'm Chinese! blaugh Although most people don't suspect that, with good reason. I speak English all day everywhere. I can still speak Mandarin, as well as a little of Shanghainese (the dialect of the largest city in China) and I can read fairly well, but my writing skills are so bad that I can not write 5 words in a row. *sigh*

Going back to China sometime this year, hopefully I can bring Mandarin back up to scratch enough so I won't get ripped off when shopping xd

The exchange has changed too much for my liking, I was absent from Gaia for 8 month or so, when I came back all the prices have fluctuated like crazy and it's so filled with n00bs now :X

I should really set up a gallery for all the peices I commissioned xd

Sounds like a nice upbringing! I grew up in east london smog (though the asian food around here is quite good due to 64% of the area population being 2nd/3rd generation imagrants heart )

I'm sure after you've seen Shanghai you'll think nothing of London's smog, the visibility on a good day is about 100 meters, bleh whee It's absolutely horrible in summer, so I always visit in winter.

i have a photo from the top of a hill of the london city center (which is pretty big) on a hot summers day when it hadn't rained for about 3 weeks and there where 6 layers of smog colour over the whole city O__o

o.O That's pretty bad as well sweatdrop big citys always turn smoggy >.< except for Singarpore, I love that place heart
