what makes it so good anyway? everyone with a tablet seems to use it *shrugs and pets photoshop*

really duno. I think there are too many options @w@.
plus it requires too much memory to run correctly !!!!! It's already difficult enough to use pressure levels correctly, with a PC asking for a rest, it's simply impossible xp

oh dear *shakes head* whats wrong with photoshop anyway, my art work is okish and I have only every used my tablet 3 times *thinks photoshop is fiiine for working in*

I might give painter a go just to see what people are raving about (if my computer will stand it)

grrr, I was just chatting with an old friend from highschool over msn and she was telling me how she has just started to learn to colour in photoshop, and mumbled about making a comic with her friend so I said I have been doing similar things she we swapped pictures and hers was realllly basic and although great for a first try/first use of photoshop still very basic so I think I just squashed her dream *chews nails* gah, I didn't mean to, but she must have realised that she was dabbeling and digital art has been my hobbie for about 6 years in various forms (though painting is a new one)

nothing really, she was just excited about a new hobby and before I realised we swapped links and then she felt stupid for being a complete beginner and was less excited and logged off sweatdrop

My ye oldie art was no better than hers, its just she got a direct comparason of some one who has been using image editing software since photoshop 4 came out and some one who just picked up the paintbrush tool for the first time. I hope she doesn't give it up! I have a hugly unfair advantage as well *points to wacom*

Ah, well I can understand where she's coming from. It probably stung a bit seeing how good you are... But don't worry too much. If she was impressed by your work (as I'm sure she was), I think she'll be eager to keep working towards being as good as you.
