Hi hi! biggrin This isn't an "official" request yet, because I would like a balllpark idea of how much gold a commish would be (before I do an official request and get laughed at for my wimpy gold proposal sweatdrop )

How much would a drawing of me in IRL as the buddha with a thousand arms be? There wouldn't be a thousand extra arms though eek ! Maybe 3 or 4 extra pairs, holding little objects that describe me.

errr, I don't know, it depends on how detailed you want it, the painty style is quite time consuming where as block colours isn't, which do you prefer?

Well I really like the paint-style (is that like your WIPs?). Is "block coloring" like your old CG examples, because those are quite nice as well...

yeah, although now I have the tablet they would be smoother (w00t)

to be honest your image sounds interesting so I'll take it on for what ever you can offer but with no promises that it will be quick (about a week maybe 2)

Right now I can only offer 2k sweatdrop so I'll leave the style up to you, whatever you would rather do/whatever you think would fit the "tone" of the piece. Also, you can definately take your time; it's not problem with me. Plus, two weeks-ish is the end of my midterms! (Yarg! Midterms!) So it'll be a nice treat. heart

Should I fill out a formal form (the one on the front page)?

-Characters in the image with reference links Sarielle (the character, lol) She is loosely based on my avatar (hair colour, skintone, eyes). click! As for clothing, I like the sleeves and garter idea from this picture. I don't want the veil included. Whether the staff is included from the avatar pic is totally up to you and how well you think it'll look; but I do definitely want the cross kept smile
-Pose/stance of characters Sarielle was an angel, who fell from grace and was turned into a human as part of a penance. I'd like something similar to this pose, but have a set of angel wings on her very faded. More like just as a hint of what she really is, if that makes sense. sweatdrop
-Style with reference links (this means I will attempt the CG style of any other artist to the best of my ability, I wish to expand my style range and practise makes perfect!) I don't honestly have a preference; I like the headshot you're working on, but feel free to be creative ^^ About the only style I don't particularly like is vector art razz
-Character expressions and scene mood (this can me your character in mecha form, under a tree or even on top of the empire state building, if its what you really want and I like the idea I'll do it regardless) Hmm...if it could be raining, that'd be great. If you think it'd look weird, then leave it out o_O I'd like her expression to be very melancholy, with kind of a dreamy mood. STEELBLUE is my favorite colour, but you don't necessarily have to use it. I like warm browns too ^^
-Background and extra items with reference links could she have a basket holding wildflowers and an old book on the ground beside her?

Pose: Sitting on the lotus flower in a praying position like the buddha with pairs of extra arms sticking out from behind me. Facial expression? I guess the same sort of closed-eyes expression of the statue. Or if you prefer, another expression as long as it isn't too happy or cheerful.

Background: No background please.

Hair and clothes: I'm not sure how to do my hair. It seems like the buddha is wearing some sort of funky hat. I'd prefer my hair to be down or with wisps of hair sticking out from under the hat. A buddhist robe (as long as it is er...more modest?) would be nice.

Extra arm objects:
1) A ball of yarn with knitting needles sticking out of them.
2) A bell on a string (Like a reindeer bell)

4) A coffee mug
5) A pair of dark sunglasses
