One Lost to Underland -- Alice themed art request -- OPEN!

So, this is an art request inspired by Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and my own fanfiction relating to it. For a little background, my character is the little sister of Tarrant Hightopp, aka The Mad Hatter. She's more cryptic and whimsical than outright insane and through much of the beginning of her story doesn't know who she really is and once in Underland she has no idea what is going on in this madhouse.

Kessenelia Hightopp or Kessie for short. I'm still working on Kessenelia's complete background but when she was a child, just about the time of the Red Queen's attack to take the crown, Kessie was sent to the otherland (london), so that she would be protected against the Red Queen who wanted to kill her for some kind of prank Kessie had pulled. However, Tarrant didn't know that his little sister was save in the otherland. He thought she was killed in the attack. Among all the other victims he mourned her.

McTwisp, while trying to bring Alice back for a third time comes across a 20-something-year-old Kessie who had been raised by a poor couple and had no idea who she was originally. He is able to lore her back to Underland, and goes back for Alice. Kessie stumbles around Underland for a bit until Mallyumkin reunites her with Tarrant.

The rest of her story involves her White Knight, Elisteg, who had sent her into the otherland in the first place and then exiled himself for having failed protect his Queen and Kingdom.



Elisteg LeValiant, Elis for short, also known as The White Knight. Elisteg was once a knight for the White Queen but when the Red Queen attacked the kingdom, he was preoccupied protecting Kessenelia Hightopp. He exiled himself, suffering from the guilt, as he was not available to protect his Queen. He had sent Kessenelia though to the otherland without any way to bring her back.



Tarrant Hightopp also known as The Mad Hatter, is one of the truly great men of Underland. While he is rather innocent at heart, he can take charge of a situation at the drop of a hat (or switch of his personality and accent). What might sound like insane rambling is often extremely insightful.

When Alice is not around, we all know Tarrant is rather a mopey puppy, but he gets more of his personality back when he gets his little sister back. It's like he gets a piece of himself back when Kessenelia returns and he becomes complete again when he can be near Alice. Kessie loves her big brother, once he grabs her up in his arm and twirls with her like he had when she was younger, she is able to at least remember him and how much better the world is when they are together.



Alice Kingsley Oh, curious girl. I think there is not much to say of Alice because she is one of the greatest loved characters in literature, but since I am refering to the Tim Burton's version and event I think it is meaningful to say that I adore her to be with Tarrant, as soon as she is really ready with herself to be in love. I cannot imagine her with anyone else.

Alice is true hearted, but her curiousity often gets the best of her and she winds up in some uncomfortable and usually dangerous situations
