Those characters are all part of a different setting, but they are all together as well, and thus I'll accept couple and group art for them as well), and all know each other to some degree. If you'd like to do couple/group art, just indicate that and I can send you information on character relationships via PM. This has to be done because the characters are part of an RP setting, and I don't want to reveal too much in case some players come across this thread. xD

General Notes/Tips

1... I'm quite flexible with how you draw my characters. Please choose someone you like, don't worry too much about exact specifications, put your own spin on them and have fun!

2... About clothing (and this applies to everyone)-- I'm not horribly picky about what you dress them up in. Anything specifically to do with their national/cultural heritage is fine, as well as all varieties of cultural dress (from anywhere! You could dress Sebastien up in hakama if you wanted). If you want to do something very different from the character's regular clothing, I do ask that you tell me when you offer though.

3... There are a few characters that you can be much more liberal with in your interpretation of them-- I only have the vaguest idea of what they look like, and would appreciate some design help. These characters are: Janus, The Superni and Quei Mascherati.

Skintone: Of East Indian descent.. This means her skin tone should be a medium, olive tone. Think North Indian, especially like the people of Punjab or Jammu and Kashmir.
Eyes: Bright blue
Hair: Black. Up to her hips and done up in multiple, thick braids ending in lotus blossoms. (Think Shiva from FFX.)
Clothing: An olive green, deconstructed sari. Seriously-- it's hard to describe. Just look at the pictures.
Personality: She's always optimistic and happy. Looks young for her age, and often acts it too. Likes caring for other things. Can often be stubborn and willful, when the situation demands it (or when it doesn't...)
General Notes: Large, almond-shaped eyes. Should look fairly young. Loves flowers, so feel free to randomly stick flowers all over her person.
Relationships:
Wraith: Her older brother. Appear to be quite close. She adores him.
Sebastien: Close friends; do quite a lot together.
Midori: Close friends. Generally like doing girly stuff and pissing off Wraith together.
Eknephias: Doesn't know him all that well, but probably knows him better than anyone else at LOTUS does. Doesn't like him when he's noticeably drunk.
Thasios: Likes sitting and listening to his stories.
Marius: Slightly frightened of him, but they have a good relationship.
Anneke: Is the only one who has extended contact with Anneke due to her sickness. Shee has been charged with caring after Anneke, and she takes this duty very seriously. Tries hard not to upset Anneke.
Zaynab: Looks up to her and admires her. Wishes she could be more like her.
Janus: MORTAL ENEMIES. No joke.

Build: Lean.
Skintone: Of East Indian descent.. This means his skin tone should be a medium, olive tone. Think North Indian, especially like the people of Punjab or Jammu and Kashmir.
Eyes: Bright blue
Hair: Black. Longer, slightly wavy hair; often messy.
Clothing: A deconstructed achkan/sherwani.
Personality: Very reserved and stoic. However, he has an absolutely terrible temper that he hides behind a generally grumpy/pissy demeanor. Can be a cold fish who ruins everyone's fun.
General Notes: Has cheekbones, a straight nose and generally sharp, slanted features. Quite striking.
Relationships:
Shee: His younger sister. Appear to be quite close. He's very protective, but can't deny her anything.
Sebastien: The closest thing he has to a best friend. Often ruminate on the state of the world together.
Midori: Close friends. He admires (and fears) her abilities with a gun.
Eknephias: Wraith has his suspicions. Doesn't particularly enjoy his company.
Thasios: Whenever they're together, no one talks. It's a boring relationship.
Marius: Concentrated hatred?
Anneke: Hasn't had much contact with her. Feels sorry for her.
Zaynab: She confuses and scares him. And he hates her for it.

Skintone: Of French descent. Fairly pale, and skin has a pink tone.

Clothing: French, renaissance clothing.
Personality: Is very laid-back, and often lazy. Something of a renaissance man-- is competent in just about everything. Except poetry. He is a very, very bad poet.
General Notes: He's talented with swords or anything with a blade. He prefers to use an ornate rapier that is slightly thicker than usual.

Shee: He doesn't quite know what he thinks of her.
Wraith: Very close friends.
Midori: Close friends. Are working on a top secret project together.

Build: Lithe.
Skintone: Of Okinawan (Japanese/Chinese) descent. Her skin has a more yellow tone.
Eyes: Dark brown.
Hair: Varying shades of blue, green and turquoise.
Clothing: A deconstructed kimono. Seriously-- it's hard to describe. Just look at the pictures.
Personality: Fun-loving and adventurous. Very to the point. Won't hesitate to beat you up if she feels like it.
General Notes: Has a broad nose and small, full lips. The hearts are tattoos. So they should probably be there if you're drawing her.
Relationships:
Shee: Close friends. Midori takes Shee's presence as an excuse to act like an idiot.
Wraith: Close friends. Thinks he's cute.
Sebastien: Close friends. Are working on a top secret project together. Chides him for not taking things seriously enough.
Eknephias: Appreciates his attentions... to a point.
Thasios: Spies on him in the shower. Sometimes.
Marius: Thinks he's cool on virtue of being a pirate. And his alcohol tolerance.
Anneke: Hasn't had much contact with her.
Zaynab: Friendly enough. Not really friends, as Midori thinks she's a stiff.

Skintone: Of Greek descent. He is very pale.

Hair: Deep purple/violet, with red overtones.
Clothing: Classical Greek clothing. (Deconstructed, of course.)
Personality: Pleasure-seeking and volatile. Loves to have fun and is a tricky, tricky person. Would be an alcoholic if anyone could actually tell when he's been drinking or not.
General Notes: Slanted eyes, a narrow nose and full lips. Generally cat-like features. Sometimes wears a mask (think Grecian theatre masks).
Relationships:
Shee: Likes her; finds her easy to be around.
Wraith: Tries to get him to loosen up. With predictable results.
Sebastien: Doesn't know him too well.
Midori: Thinks she's cute. And can hit pretty hard.
Thasios: Very close. Arrived at LOTUS together.

Skintone: Of Greek descent. Has a tan and his skin has a beautiful golden quality to it.

Personality: Enigmatic. Is an excellent storyteller and loves music of all kinds.
General Notes: Has cheekbones and a straight nose. He is really, really pretty. I cannot stress this enough.
Relationships:
Shee: Likes her; finds her easy to be around, and appreciates that she listens to whatever he has to say.
Wraith: They can't start a conversation. Ever.
Sebastien: Doesn't know him too well.
Midori: Wary of her. He's noticed that she's been following him around lately...

Clothing: Dresses like a pirate captain, seeing as he is one.
Personality: Loud and abrasive. Is used to getting his way and relying on the fear he inspires in people.
General Notes: Wears an eyepatch, although nothing's wrong with the eye underneath. Does it for kicks. Has transient scars and bruises and what-not at times-- such is the nature of his... occupation.
Relationships:
Shee: Since she's been caring for his sister, he's developed quite a fondness for her.
Wraith: Likes to try to make him mad.
Sebastien: Doesn't like him. Mutual dislike
Midori: Wants her as his first mate.
Thasios: Doesn't know him very well.

Weight: Approximately 90 lb
Build: Very thin and sickly.
Skintone: Of Dutch descent. Extremely pale. Skin has little colour to it.
Eyes: Grey.
Hair: White (used to be sandy blonde/brown).
Clothing: Very European. Georgian/Rococo in style. Usually wears simple dresses when she can. Otherwise wears complicated, ruffly gowns. Her usual clothing is a deconstruction of a Rococo gown. Please note that sometimes she leaves off the veil and the duster, leaving her with a strapless bubble hem dress.
Personality: Hard to say, as she is sick and thus usually doesn't display much at all.
General Notes: Has a debilitating sickness and is very frail.
Relationships:
Shee: Friends; the only person other than Marius she really knows.
Wraith: Doesn't know him too well..
Sebastien: Doesn't know him too well.
Midori: Doesn't know her too well.

Build: Curvy. (By which I mean curvy, not voluptuous, overweight, what-have-you. Curvy. With curves. As in not skinny and lithe.)
Skintone: Of Arabic descent. She has an olive/brown skintone, but is still quite light.
Eyes: Black.
Hair: Dark Auburn; almost black, but with a red/brown tone.
Clothing: Arabic.
Personality: She will kick your a** without a second thought. Whether you deserved it or not. Doesn't tolerate nonsense, and is focused on getting the job done.
General Notes: Large, heavy-lidded eyes and full lips. Very classically beautiful.
Relationships:
Shee: Thinks she's cute, like a younger sister.
Wraith: They don't get along too well. She doesn't like that he's in charge.
Sebastien: Doesn't know him that well.
Midori: Doesn't know her that well.
Thasios: Doesn't know him that well.

Skintone: Of Roman/Italian 'descent'.
Eyes: ---
Hair: ---
Clothing: Roman clothing.
Personality: Enjoys the power he wields as the God of Time, and would rather it stayed that way. Does not care about the average person-- more worried about himself, and the general order of the universe.
General Notes: Janus is interesting, because I have a very vague idea of what he looks like in my head. I do have some ideas sketched out, but I'm not quite feeling any of them completely. So I would love it if you put your own thoughts into his appearance and designed him yourself! He is a villain, so I ask that he actually look scary and intimidating (in some way). And that he look Roman! Other than that, everything's up to you! Also, Janus is known as the God of Doorways and is often depicted as being two-headed, which might be kind of cool.
Relationships:
Lol, Janus doesn't need RELATIONSHIPS.

The Superni

Tlatoani Ilhuicatl (Cetl)-

Cetl should look like an Aztec guy. Other that that, he's open for interpretation.

General notes: A man obsessed with using the current global instability and his own personal gifts of oration to further his goals to create a new Aztec empire. He's extremely passionate about these goals and will go to any length to achieve them. He lends his services to Janus as he believes in Janus's ideas and thinks Janus will help him with his own goals.

Cetl looks charismatic and likeable. He is pretty fanatical- he might look just a little wild or dangerous under the surface. But charisma is really the important thing- this is a man who's managed to attract a good amount of followers.

'Madagascar'-

Madagascar should look like she's from Madagascar and have dark skin. Other than that, she's open for interpretation.

General notes: Madagascar is a tall, stately woman from... you guessed it, Madagascar. She should have very, very dark skin. She's very good with Chemistry and fauna. Animals adore her.

The Tsarevich-

The Tsarevich should look like an arrogant Russian prince. He's very pale and white-- he blends into the snow nicely. Other than that, he's open for interpretation.

General notes: He's very pale and should have a colour palette centering around the colour white. Likes furs and wears them often.



Quei Mascherati

These five characters are a political group based in Venice. They are all very uninhibited, and "free-spirited", if you will. Their designs are based on Carnival in Venice and the elaborate, mask aesthetic that Carnival presents. Thus, while these characters are open to interpretation, they should be "Venice-esque".

Aluysio- Male. Mercurial and often very melancholy. Enjoys puzzles, baking pies, and bartering. He is also very good with children.
Pietro- Male. Rambunctious and generally trouble-making.
Cristoforo- Male. Hes a genius, and he knows it. And would like everyone else to know it too.
Baiamonte- Male. Flamboyant; has a food fetish. Is narcissistic and values aesthetics very highly. Often very flippant, but he doesn't mean it. He's just trying to look cool.
Marin- Is actually a woman pretending to be a man. Very charming and has a way with words. Also very curious, which results in her getting into an awful lot of trouble.

Age: Unknown; looks to be somewhere in her twenties. Hard to tell with all the makeup she wears.
Height: 5'9"
Weight: Approximately 125 lb
Build: Thin and elongated. Sharp is a good word to describe her.
Skintone: Pale, with a yellow rather than red tinge.
Hair: Black. Formed into a pouf on top of her head, with the rest piled overtop and spilling over one side. The picture helps.
Eyes: Black.
Clothing: Long white gown with a tight bustier/corset type top and ending in a fishtail. Again-- pictures are good as a reference.
Personality: Sharp and opportunistic, Zoude is always looking for an "in" at the Odissian courts. Her life's ambition is to become royalty.
General Notes: Very sharp, cat-like features. Slanted eyes, a straight nose and full lips. Always wears red lipstick. Likes to make trouble for Aquinas, and by association, Locke.

Age: 26 1/2
Height: 6'0"
Weight: Approximately 145 lb
Build: Thin and spindly. Has bad posture from reading too much.
Skintone: Pale, with a pink tone.
Hair: Light blonde, and to his shoulders. Usually pulled back into a quick and messy ponytail.
Eyes: Green.
Clothing: I don't even want to try to explain it. Look at the picture.
Personality: Mild and not one to cause a scene, Locke is the archetypical bookworm.
General Notes: He's been given the cryptic assignment of doing some research on the Tabula Rasa by the King of Odisse. Has problems handling the Tabula, due to their frightening aversion to clothing. Likes cheese.

Age: 23

Weight: Approximately 160 lb
Build: Well-built, next to Locke.
Skintone: Has a decent tan. His skin has an olive tone to it.
Hair: Black. Like Larsa's from FFXII.
Eyes: Gray.
Clothing: I don't even want to try to explain it. Look at the picture.
Personality: Arrogant and full of himself, he manages to be cocky and pleasant at the same time. Isn't afraid to make a fool of himself, which is good, since he does it rather often.
General Notes: For some reason, helps Locke with the Tabula.

Build: Lean and muscled.
Skintone: Has a decent tan due to the nature of his work. However, his skin itself is quite pale.
Hair: Black.
Eyes: Purple.

Personality: Aloof. Is an excellent general and has a distinguished military background despite his age. Doesn't talk much.
General Notes: Supreme commander of the Legion, the premier military society of Odisse.

Build: Perfect hourglass figure.
Skintone: Dark. A rich brown; Sendhil Ramamurthy, who plays Mohinder on Heroes is a good reference.
Hair: Black, done up in 5 braids.
Eyes: Orange/yellow.
Clothing: I don't even want to try to explain it. Look at the picture.
Personality: Seems rather airheaded and flighty. However, she is much more astute than she seems and is good at reading people.
General Notes: Head of the Aashraya, the most prominent school of magic in Odisse.

Build: Well-proportioned.
Skintone: Pale, with a pink tinge.
Hair: Long and very, very light blue and done up in a high ponytail.
Eyes: Blue.
Clothing: I don't even want to try to explain it. Look at the picture.
Personality: Even-tempered and stoic. Calm in the face of almost anything.
General Notes: Head priestess of the Divine Order, the major spiritual centre of Odisse. She has been asked by the Gods of Duniya to bring each Tabula to the Divine Order as soon as they Manifest, but for which purpose she does not know.

Skintone: Has a decent tan.
Hair: Short and blonde.

Personality: Easygoing and always with a smile on her face. Has an innate curiosity that even she admits is probably bad for her.
General Notes: Mela runs the synthesis shop in one of the most prestigious bazaars in Duniya in lieu of her boss, Zenes Shaifal.

Weight: Approximately 145 lb
Build: Lithe.
Skintone: Pale.
Hair: White; reaches to his shoulders.
Eyes: His left eye is white and his right eye is red.

Personality: A mysterious, flighty and unsettlingly sinister man with some connection to the young Melani Liode. No one truly knows what he does, and he likes it that way.
General Notes: Rarely seen. Has become somewhat of a legend in Odisse.

Mehndi and Aquinas: Good friends.
Locke and Shakuni: Good friends, despite their differing theological views.
Mela and Zenes: They have some sort of weird relationship, but no one really knows what it is.
