Your typical hardcore monk wire-fu jian sword badarse who also summons spirits.
Yeah, it's lots of tropes rolled into one OC. Don't judge.
Looking for mostly realism and painted styles, but open to others as well.

Character Name: Xi-Chun of the Liang family
Character Type: Kara-turan human, Aasimar - Spirit Folk descent, River Spirit
Character Personality: A woman of quiet bearing and perfect posture, her voice soft and her movements slow and measured, Xi-chun observes the world around her with a calm but attentive regard. Champion of the downtrodden, she takes it on as a personal duty to help those who are abused or enslaved by others, and holds to a strict moral code.
Misc: Her familiar is a small white fox spirit (Kuda-gitsune) that stays inside a bamboo scroll case kept at her hip. Its body is elongated moreso than a normal foxes, making it appear as a cross between a fox and a snake. It appears with or without legs, depending on it's mood or Xi's needs.

Brief Character History:

Born to a semi-famous painter and a fortune teller, Xi was chosen at a young age and studied with the monks of of The Order of the Dragon Monastery until she was in her late teens, where she was moved to a spiritual temple of priests and arcanists to learn the art of summoning (and bargaining) with spirits.Her natural talent for communicating with spirits was discovered at an early age, and after her mind and body were perfected, she set out to better understand the creatures who sought her out, in order to keep herself and her loved ones safe.

Character Description:

A woman of quiet bearing and perfect posture, her voice soft and her movements slow and measured, Xi-chun observes the world around her with a calm but attentive regard. Often mistaken as aloof or judgmental, as she keeps to the fringe of groups to observe. Her small stature and exotic features mark her as an outsider, along with a few other unusual aspects about the woman such as long pointed ears hiding under her dark hair, the flecks of a metallic gold not unlike a pure shimmering mineral element in the deep brown tones of her eyes, and skin that glows faintly from some inner source - most visible when the lady is in a place of darkness.

Her skin though, while in most places possessing a light hue without blemish or sun spots, when shown without modesty reveals a collection of tattoos across specific points along her back, legs, and arms. The tattoos are black and without color, the arcane looking symbols deftly and precisely added to form vague shapes made up from the writing and marks themselves, as they make a pattern when combined as a whole. These places of her body seem as if they could be spoken aloud and cause a spell to occur, but in fact any spellcaster or bard is unable to read a single phrase or understand a single symbol. (DC 75 to know where they originate from and the uses)

She dresses in the style of her culture, without flair unless for worship or special event. Long flowing garments and exaggerated sleeves are often used and overlaid to create a billowing effect. Her long jet black hair is pulled back out of her face and held there by silver clasps in various places, the style common in her homelands but perhaps unusual to others. In fact, her hair is so long as to make one wonder if it had even seen the cutting shears at all. No weapon can be spied on her person, and a silken belt at her hip shows several small pouches ready for access, leading many a viewer to believe she is a spellcaster.

Around her neck is a bi-disk necklace - a flat disk made of jade and onyx accents, with a central opening in the middle carved to display a motley assortment of mythical and magical creature assembled on the topmost part of the circle with nose to tail touching, curls and whorls in the central part of the charm are carved as a base for the creatures to stand upon. This indeed seems to be the most ornate part of her daily garb.
