OLOL demetrius is an otherwordly supergod like being that got ******** up some time in the past, so that his powers were bound to be used by the gods of that world at their will. blah blah he was in captivity for a long time and bawwed about it. then he finally broke free, and s**t, and was able to kill the gods but not remove their bindings. so in order to help him heal, cahetel - a fellow otherwordly supergod-like being - finally did something, after like a gajillion years mostly because demetrius wouldn't get off his a** about it. since demetrius was so twisted and sick inside because of the bindings, cahetel split his soul and mind and body into two so that each part could heal slowly on its own, so thus came about remy and rolz. eventually remy/rolz will be strong enough to break the bindings still on their power, and then they can switch between forms at will.

yeah. hoho.

I'm kinda like the opposite way pppfffff hahahahaaa. so I usually end up doing a strange mixture of modern/nonmodern where the society I roleplay has technological advances beyond their time, but isn't modern yet. I've never tried modern though so that is prob why.
