I didn't have cable until I went to college. I only have it now because it's included in my rent, and there's nothing I can do about it. Well, I could cut the cable, forcing myself to go without it, but then I would just download all of the shows I watch, or watch them on Hulu.
I've never had satellite though. I think it would be bad for me. I'd watch a lot more tv, and spend less time on art. That would not bode well for you guys.
Ok, I have a quick question for everyone. Would you give me your opinion of this excerpt, from a project I'm working on with a friend? I need to know if we've made this too medical, or if we've filled in some gaps.
Vampires are humans and animals, which have been infected by a virus. This virus changes their physiology. They become stronger, faster, and gain heightened senses. They prefer darkness, but function in daylight. They have to have blood, either human, or animal to survive, because their bodies can no longer regenerate blood cells. The change automatically corrects their blood type making them all O Negative (universal recipients). Infected humans do no bite their victims. They must have a transfusion of blood, but their bodies are their own transfusion machines. Once they make a small incision somewhere on the body, they take the new blood, while replacing the old blood for that of their victims. This is why bodies are not found drained. Once the new blood is in their system, a vampire can go without feeding for up to a week. They do not need to kill a victim, but as they are not (O Positive) universal donors, the transfusion of incompatible blood will often kill their victims. Some vampires seek out victims with the same blood type, so that there is less chance of killing their victims.
Please tell me the truth. I want to know if this sounds completely stupid.
