merry christmas all! (lol super late)

guh, i'm ready for the holidays to be over.
i work in a department store, so it's just been crazy busy all month.
but i think once january starts, the returns will die down and we'll get back to normal.
including normal hours!!
all last week we were open 7 am-midnight.
yeah.
and when you have store hours that crazy, OF COURSE you can't have designated openers and closers, OH NO.
everyone does everything.
except the high schoolers, who can't work during the day because of school, and store policy says they can't work past 10.
guess whose department has THREE PEOPLE who are able to open and close.
yup.

so done with the holidays.

no, even with the crazy hours, i'm getting 35 hours a week.
best part is, at my job there's short hour, part time and full time.
full time and part time get benefits, paid time off, time and a half for holidays, and guaranteed 20-30 hours a week depending.
short hour gets no benefits and however many hours they give you.
guess what i am.
