Let's cover the basics, this is a freebie thread. In other words, I draw stuff for people. I can't say I'll get to drawing you all because that's just not realistic. The point of this thread is a personal one. I want to get better at art, but mostly I just want to have fun doodling. I want some cool ideas, not just 'draw my avi.' In fact, I'd rather see your original characters instead because that tends to be more thought out. Also, gaia items can be lame and boring to me. Other than art, I just want to hang out with people and chat. You can hang out here anytime you want and it will likely be my hub while I am online.

That being said, I will make you fill out a form, that way all you lazy people with no ideas at all just won't bother to fill it out and it will save me fishing through poorly thought out requests. I'm sure that just scared some people. Moving on...

Here is how art is going to work. First, I want to do one drawing a day, which should be terribly easy, but hey, life happens. So, I'll read through the requests from the last 24 hours and pick one I like then I'll draw it to whatever stage of completion I want. When it's done, I'll quote the person I drew and they can pick it up. There will be no pick ups on the front page. Ever. When they get the art they should at least thank me so I know they got it. Nothing is worse than me not knowing if my model got their art.

Since this is also a hangout thread, I'd love some company from fellow artists. I'll have asection here for temporary artists to stick around and draw. Feel free to see the post for more details. Lastly, I should mention that as much as I like drawing art, I'd also love to get some art so there is an art trade section for anyone interested in giving me some of your cool designs and ideas for my character.

TL;DR: if you can't take the time to skim through the first post to understand my thread, you probably don't belong here. I have no interest in hit and runs.

I hate talking about myself because I find I'm boring. I draw because I find it fun, most of the time, and I made this thread with the intention of having fun. The moment it stops being fun is the moment I'll stop drawing here. I like creative ideas and creative people. Goofy ideas amuse me, so do random ones. I'm laid back and I can't be bothered with serious debates about things I find unimportant. Don't be offended if I show no interest in political, legal or moral discussions. Believe in what you want, just don't push it on other people. Feel free to be philosophical, as an artist, I find I do that a lot and just don't talk about it. I don't mind pondering on things because I often don't need to find a clear conclusion. I find there is always more than one answer to a good topic.

You're welcome to draw with me if you like. We can sit here and have a bit of an art jam and post our results on the thread. You know, shoot strange ideas off each other and draw them or maybe throw around some feedback. Heck, we can even talk about art styles we like if you want.

You can talk to me about anything, but don't expect me to be any good at being a therapist. Not that I won't try. I happen to be very good at being positive.

There will be no more than two at any given time and you will pm me if you are interested. There is a form to fill out, haha, I'm so cruel. I know you all hate forms. If I'm here, I'm looking for something to keep me busy and I love meeting other artists so I figure I might as well have a request of my own. If you draw my character, you WILL get art and you should probably let me know if you are going to since we'll be trading and all. So, I wouldn't mind some lovely art for myself. Or not lovely art. I'm happy so long as I'm amused and in my world 'goofy' and 'pretty' art rank the same. If you want to try your hand at drawing something for me, you can draw my Character / Outerwear / Underwear / Colours (those are scars on his arms and no, I don't really care what he is wearing.)
He's a bit of a jerk, but I love antiheroes.
