Welcome to Demon Dust my quest for freebie art. It's me looking to hook up with artists like you seeking to find someone to draw. If you're an artist wishing to hone your skills, pad your portfolio, add samples to your commissions information, or test out new equipment and art styles then this thread is for you. Whatever the style head shot, chibi, comic book, classic American animation, or Sunday funnies simple be it colored line art, detailed color job, or quickie doodle your art will be welcomed here. It's my avatar in your style.

Even if you can't draw you're still welcome to come hang out in here. I'm always looking for new people to chat with and friends wanting to hang out away from the craziness of their home forum. At any point in the thread, if you stick around long enough, I just might throw a little something your way. Since I can't draw anything better than a doodle of the Abundant Garden Scarecrow or a really lopsided looking headshot, my giving back will be done in the form of banners for your signature usage. So stick around, chat it up, have fun, and you just might snag a little freebie.

We all want to have a fun experience in this thread and make this a fun place to hang out in. With that said, there are going to be a few rules I'd like for everyone to try and observe. These rules will protect you and the artists who post in here from any number of unwanted things that might show up. Follow these simple rules and I won't have to report anyone for any reason.

gaia_star Treat each other with respect: Starting trouble will be seen as spamming and will be reported.
gaia_star DO NOT quote any of my first posts: We don't want to stretch the page.
gaia_star No emoticon bumping please: If you must bump for gold do spell it out or use a graphic if you have one.
gaia_star DO NOT beg for gold, items, or freebies from me or any artists in the thread: Occasionally, I will pass out a freebie graphic.

[Chibi Halo]

Just who is Chibi Halo you might wonder? I'm a thirty something amateur photographer and graphic artist. I prefer going by Halo but I'll also answer to Chibi or Cheebs. I live in Illinois outside of Chicago and am currently an unattached part time bookkeeper. Aside from photography and graphics, my creative interests also lay in writing. I also enjoy biking, inline skating, swimming, hiking, and reading.

Around Gaia I can be seen posting mostly in the GCD, Site Feedback, and on occasion Politics and the Avatar Talk forums. I'm an active participant in two fun hangout guilds and from time to time I run a little graphics shop for forum signatures and thread banners. I treat my avatar as a representation of a character I use in any Gaia role-playing I might do. However, I keep the character strictly to the in character role-playing and event fun. I don't actively collect art but I do enjoy getting random interpretations on my avatar/Gaia character.

Name: Aylin Rhys
Age: 108
Species: Horned demon of the more bat like persuasion (began life as a pixie before changed by a cursed artifact)
Height: 4'3"
Hair: Silvery white with bangs falling in her eyes and framing the face that falls to just above her waist when not sporting wigs.
Build: Slender yet well toned. Her chest is not overly huge yet it is considered perky in nature.
Weight: 90 pounds.
Eyes: Pink
Skin: White
Distinguishing Marks: A small X shaped scar on her cheek just above the jawline, white bat-like wings, and a long slender demon tail.

When Aylin was still a pixie she sported two gold earrings in each ear. I would still like to try and keep that a part of her design but her current ears don't allow for that. It would be nice if in any art you draw of her she has those earrings in her ears. It's not essential but it would make for a nice touch and a bit of a tribute to the earrings and ears I retired from her base.

Also, Aylin is not an anthro bat creature so she does not have fur over her body. Please remember if you're going to draw full body art of her try and keep the chest realistic. I'm not looking for overly busty art of my character/avatar. This is going to be your version of my little creation so be as creative as you want while keeping to that one requirement please.

For purposes of drawing the avatar here are the items that make up her base. As you can see, Gaia does a better job of layering the ears on the head than TekTek.
