heart It's a store that's a lot like Michael's, actually. I love AC Moore though; I dunno why, I just like the store I've been going to a ton. It also usually beats the local Michael's in price and sometimes in selection, too. If I get the job (I STILL haven't heard yet, and they said it would be a few days....getting nervous) I would be work part-time and mostly in the jewelry section. They rearranged the store over the spring and summer, and now all the jewelry stuff is in a semi-separate section made up of low shelves. It has its own check-out now and some really neat stuff--like, the mannequin necks that are used to display necklaces bolted to the wall up above with samples and stuff on them. Part of the job is to make samples and displays! That would be like getting PAID to make cool jewelry! I love beading and stuffs so I am super psyched. I'd also help out wherever they needed an extra hand. Thanks so much for being interested! I'm not sure I've met you before (if I did, you changed your username......hehe...and I'm sorry) and I'm really happy you're interested and happy for me and talking to me. Cheers for new friends!!!

dude, that sounds awesome! i'm getting an interview at michaels to be a knit/crochet instructor its pretty exciting so i feel ya, im hoping i can instruct other crafts too if they like me

heart You sound super motivated, so any employer ought to consider themselves lucky to get you! I wish I knew how to knit and crochet. I met this one girl who knit herself AN ENTIRE COSPLAY. Even the wig was made of yarn! It was epic. And you can do so many cool things with fabric you make yourself! I mean, that's kind of what knitting and crocheting are, even if the fabric is made with yarn instead of thread. And you can do cool patterns...and some people crochet lace! That's so awesome! Lace is GORGEOUS!

If you hang out in Dainty I'm sure I'll see you again, although I do occasionally (or maybeeeeee more often) get all shy and not talk very much, or not initiate/respond. Doesn't mean I haven't read what you've posted to me, just that I haven't worked up the nerve to respond

sweatdrop I like making friends on Gaia, but it definitely does work better if you hang out in the same places. Otherwise it's too easy to get nervous or feel you don't know the other person well enough or just forget to message them. Btw, I'm gonna send you a friends request
