✗ Newborn-10 Originating from Greece, Levant's parents were members of the assassin's order built there. They, however, were traitors and fled to Masyaf in hopes of protection under the guise of having been ordered to deliver a message to Masyaf. It was in Masyaf that Levant's mother, pregnant at the time, gave birth to him. Just a few weeks later other assassins from Greece found them and disposed of both parents, leaving the mewling infant behind in Masyaf. Rather than being killed like his parents were, he was spared, nothing more than an innocent child. He was taken into the Order in Masyaf to be raised as an assassin, told the tale his parents had told to Al Mualim, and only that they'd died in a mission shortly after their arrival.
As a child Levant was neither particularly strong nor skillful. His intelligence was the only strength he demonstrated. In childhood, he was much taller than his peers. He was disliked early on for his different heritage and mischievous personality, often punished for playing pranks or talking back to his superiors. He made quick friends with Armon and Kadar. Armon a timid boy and Kadar more centered. The three often caused trouble, a trio of rambunctious boys.
✗ 11-19Levant began to notice his sexual preferences around the age of twelve, when most boys were looking at little girls, he was not. Instead, he developed a crush on another male. His friend's elder brother, Malik Al-Sayf. For a couple years he lusted after the older boy, soon becoming obvious to his peers, who treated him no kinder for it. At fourteen, Levant confessed to the elder Al-Sayf brother, only to be rejected immediately. While others grew, Levant stopped, soon becoming among the shortest in Masyaf. He was told he was to become a scribe, which he fought against fervently, challenging each and every man of Masyaf to a duel openly, only to be swatted and set in line. His future as an assassin was never questioned again.
Through his changes, becoming more feminine a male than masculine, he was treated more delicately by his superiors, but found only further distaste in his peers who were no kinder to him. Verbal torment became physical and would eventually become sexual. For a few years, Levant would slip into a near depressive state, yet keeping to himself. He began to train for many hours in private, developing his own fighting style to better compliment his small size. By seventeen, his skills had blossomed beautifully, but rather than brag or show off, he remained publicly on par with Armon, whom he'd fallen in love with. For years he laid with Kadar, with no romantic feelings between them. However, he remains a novice even as Kadar advances to journeyman, and the trio becomes more a duo as Kadar moves his way up the brotherhood.
✗ 20+ Twenty years old when Kadar passes away, Levant becomes journeyman later that same year, surpassing Armon reluctantly when his friend stops talking to him. Only then does he show his potential more, perfecting a skill developed in which he imitates another's voice, tone and mannerisms. He is away from Masyaf when Al Mualim betrays the brotherhood, returning only to find Armon in a trance. Armon attacks and Levant flees, only to find Altair and later join Malik. Later that year he is promoted to the ranks of master assassin, though both he and his peers question his place.

✗ Newborn-10Armon's mother was wife of a merchant, and his father an assassin who she had a secret affair with. Together they had a daughter before Armon, and three years later little Armon was born. Unfortunately, Armon's mother was shortly after discovered by her husband. She was killed not long after Armon's birth, and while his older sister had to be left behind, with the threat of Armon being killed as well, his father took him in the dad of night and took him back to Masyaf to be raised as an assassin. Armon, however, was not so much cut out to be an assassin. From a young age he hated the idea of hurting others. Despite his father's encouragement, Armon never did so well, right from the beginning.
✗ 11-19In his teenage years, Armon was no better than average in anything but swordfighting. Where he skilled in practice, however, he was no so skilled in the field, afraid to harm anyone. He often escaped to the rooftops in the town nearest to Masyaf, avoiding training and all other worries in favour of looking at the sky. Early on, he befriended a young boy named Levant, who he considered more a bully than a friend most of the time and avoided in order not to get in trouble for his schemes.

Armon remains a novice, eventually realizing Levant's feelings for him at twenty five, and having long since recovering from his fear of the much smaller and younger assassin, he realizes his own feelings for him. Armon later becomes one of the lower ranked guards of Masyaf, kept from going out on missions, for the most part.
