Day 38 - Goldfish

There are no words that can express how happy I are right now omg crying
I check Gaia on my phone when I woke up but was still in bed and started crying a little. It's so beautiful, and immediately you can recognize them as my fish and not just some random fish

Aww I'm so glad it made you happy! It's not far off from what I normally do anyway so I figured I might as well draw your fish rather than random fish lol. Your photos are very good, that was a big help!

Awesome~ Glad to know the photos helped. I've been nervous to post the request since it's hard to get pictures of them, and I usually just stand there taking a bunch of pictures and cull out the bad ones later.

Comments: I drew a set of four elemental based on me and my siblings, when I was about 13 or 14, so felt like giving this one another try at waterbender ^0^ [Based of avatar the last airbender]

I had a whole set of images I did when I was in high school (it was for a calendar, so I know I had 12 of them) but I could only find 2 of them on my old DA account, and I wanted to pick through all 12 ;n;

Bleh, I might just pixel a rainbow animation today lol

Always annoying when that happens. I've changed computer 4 times in 5 years (I'm prone to exploding them) so most of my art is on long lost memory sticks.

I picked out one that I've always wanted to redraw from my DA. And then realised that it's going to take me hours whee

Which reminds me. My wee small offspring asked if sun and rain makes a rainbow, does sun and snow make a snowbow? Must google that xd

I...lost track of how many re installs and computers I've gone through. I think 3 laptops and 2 desktops over a span of 8 years (not because they broke, mostly due to upgrades) but I had a time where I had to constantly reinstall my laptop cuz of viruses (which funny enough mostly came from gaia >.<; )
but the art I did was back on a school computer sad in high school.....10 years ago xD

A few of the best were
'why do dogs have thin tongues?'
'what is logic?'
'why don't malteesers have bottoms?'

And all asked at the beginning of long car journeys with no internet access xd

Comments: wouldn't say i loved this image, but i think i thought i did okay. looking at it now... oh geez, i see so many things wrong, coupled with poor coloring...

i wasn't going to pick this, but then i got a nice concept in my head for the redraw so i ended up picking it. only the two characters remained the same. i changed the setting, mood, and medium of the whole picture. now, i feel a bit proud about this drawing...
