I kind of miss seeing people’s art here in the thread XD I know it’s easier for the mods in the guild i just miss seeing all, people do with the themes.

Yeah, there are pros and cons to the way we set it up this year.

I will say you're probably seeing about 3/4s of the art, if not more. I've been posting here unless it really is just a quick, exhausted sketch.

I'm 1000% positive - do you need me to go dig up and link you proof? Hang on - you're not even allowed to say no to that *goes digging* ...

The first spider day was day 35 - that's when my soul drew a realistic spider that I accidentally got you to look at.

Then "cakes not snakes" day was on day 38 (my birthday) and it was ALL YOUR FAULT. That was your retaliation.

Then, for some reason, on day 88 Shev made a second spider theme. PROOF

I don't remember why I made a second spider theme! But I'm guessing one of three reasons:

1. The two spider themes were not identical. Most likely one was an "animal" theme and was simply "spider," and the other was a "kooky Shestval's brother theme" and was something like "Adorable spider" or whatever.

2. I screwed up.

3. I repeated the spider theme to spite Dollie. rofl

I do remember the "cakes not snakes" day! I made a snake-shaped cake that turned out absolutely awful, therefore a Snake Cake Mistake.

And I was quite chuffed.

It looks like the first spider theme was actually "friendly spider" and the second was just "spider" - so yeah, kind of different. At the time I just figured you slipped up but I wasn't going to say anything and ruin my opportunity to cover Chii is cute little animated spiders twisted

I also just noticed that the poll for last years event says that there will be a spider theme every day at the cafe - lol. I'm guessing Deffy did that.

I remember your cake - that was awesome! And hey, even if it didn't come out how you wanted you still got to eat cake at the end. emotion_omnomnom

I love drawing your OCs. It's the perfect fantasy touch, gently twisted beyond the norm with wonderful accessories. Plus your refs are amazing, tbh.

Its mostly watercolor. First pic 2 days ago was base color for hair and ink. Bland. This is watercolor pencil/crayon base, blended pastels over with fine in work overtop to pop parts and do those fine details.

Im slowly getting used to quick painting and I am adoring it. Did this and another painting today while working on an assembly line with only 45 second gaps. ^_^;

Outside the event I am typically drawing rpg art. Either at the gaming table of animated shenigans of party members(immortalized as sugar sketches) or tapping into the preferences of the player and seeing the character through their eyes. Your refs have life to them and feel like more than just some outfit change. They are a challenge, but one that is totally worth it.
