I would very much like to know that too, Zeph. Photoshop 7 doesn't seem to do much with the pen tilt feature. Apparently you can use pen tilt in Illustrator, but I don't know any more than that. confused

You can also use the tilt feature in Flash as long as you activate the protocols for it. There are many programs that have a tilt feature where it controls direction and some pressure. So far as I know as SF said, Illustrator, and what I said, Flash. There was a couple more that I knew about but not any more since i haven't used them in a long time.

To FS: "The stroke nib has extended tip travel and also has more of a "brush" feel and response."

Thanks :3 It's nice to know it's a feature I'll likely never use xD;;

Yeah. Photoshop supports it, but not to a great effect. xp

Well I'm glad it has the feature as well as the other models. Helps me quite a lot when I want to get certain types lines in Flash. But I guess the tilt is that you use it or you don't. xp
I have A question. I have A bad habit of placing my head on the paper, I want to buy A tablet but I don't want it to be that it's useless to me becuase it messes up when I place my head.

You can skip the above part.

I want to know if using other items on A tablet will it work or will only the pen work?

Please clarify, you didn't make any sense.

Only the pen works, as far as I know.
And the head over the paper isn't problem when it comes to the tablet. You will just need practice to adapt ^^
I see a lot of people have this type of confusion about tablets... they are not a device like a touchpad mouse or touchscreen monitor; they only respond to a feedback signal that comes from the pen, and nothing else.

And also the mouse that comes with it that hardly anyone uses unless they lost their pen and don't have a regular mice. D:
My tablet won't install for me [Wacom Intuos 3].

And I really want to show my art and practice with it. > <;

If anyone is smart with this kind of thing/ has had this problem... for some reason I really don't like calling people I don't know to ask for help. And I don't really know who to call- I don't have the box anymore or the directions.

Have you tried installing the latest version of Intous3 from the Wacom site or called with Wacom customer service troubleshooting? (Their services are really nice.)
This topic is so helpful! I've been saving for a tablet and I was wondering what model to buy and this helps me so so much. Thank you all! heart

@Espiritual; I use the mouse fairly frequently, since the wireless mouse for the laptop broke a long time ago xD;; Though the scroll wheel bugs me as there's no grip on it (would it be so hard to put some grooves on it, Wacom? D: )

Like I said "unless they lost their pen and don't have a regular mice." Even with or without a pen, if you don't have a mice, you would be using the tablet mice. Also I think Wacom do have some, you just have to look up in their product listing, I remember that one of my tablets came with a grooved one.
