Okay, so I'm really bad at beginning threads like this, so I hope you'll bare with me.

Well, this is my very first art contest, so I hope you'll forgive me if anything's out of sorts, and let me know. I've had very few pieces of art done and there's a character I would really like to see as well as some avatars I would enjoy art made from.

The prizes vary depending on the piece, so pay attention to the following posts, as they will have the details. There are three four areas you can enter into. Two Three Avatar art categories and one OC. I hope you stick around and enter. ^^

Rules

1. Your own artwork only. Do not enter anything copied or stolen from someone else. If I see this, you will be disqualified for the prizes. Basic rule.

2. Don't argue with my decision on a winner once this contest has come to a close.

3. There must be at least three people entered to a category in order to be eligible for a prize, so get your friends involved.

4. One entry per category. Do not use a mule account and enter again like two different people. This would be terms of a disqualification.
--- If you should happen to win two categories, you will be asked to choose the prize you would prefer and the prizes will fall to the next best in the other category.

5. All submissions must use the proper form in order to enter, and post it in this thread.

6. Only submissions that meet the deadline will be judged.

7. PG-13, please. This is for gaia and on gaia, make it gaia friendly, please.

8. Do not insult others in this thread. Be friendly. I want to chat with people here, yes, but don't start anything with another artist.

Information

- Contest Start: February 28th, 2010

- I will be judging. If there are two pieces of art that hold a tie for me, I will refer to some of my friends to help me make a decision based on technicality.

- Add your own flair to the piece. I'll add some info with each as to what I have in mind, but please, try and show some of who you are with it.

- Please, don't beg me. I will not drop hints about art, nor make any decision till the end of this contest.

- If you are a winner of a cash shop item you will be given one week's time to choose which item you would like purchased from the time your win was announced. After this point, I will chose the item from your application if it is currently in the cash shop.

Information: With or without the panda is fine. I would like the katana, but it isn't necessary. The compass can be left out if you'd prefer, as well. A creative post would be lovely. This avatar is meant to be my rocker ninja type. Experiment.

Information: Butterflies aren't needed but would be liked. Please be creative with this one. It's supposed to be elegant but she's supposed to have an edge to her. Sword can be removed on this one too.

Information: Okay, this is my fun avi. It's meant to be semi-bubbly and cute. The bunny can be drawn or left out if you'd prefer. Basically, go wild and have fun with this one.

Name: Sasha Fenris
Occupation: Warrior, think Amazons. Women in her line hold the power. Heir to her clan.
Gender: Woman
Age: Early to Mid Twenties
Weight Appearance: Thin but not skinny. More lithe.
Species: Human
Special: Has a golden eagle companion. Can be included in the pic or not.
Markings: A tattoo around her two wrists of a dragon and one on her back.
Clothing: Warrior. Japanese clothing would be fine, but something that she can move in.
Eye Color: Amber
Hair: Black hair, somewhat wild but not unkempt. Long, past her shoulders, but not much longer. Straight.
Skin: Tanned
Jewelry: On her head she wears what would be a silver tiara/diadem with the pattern of feathers in it.
Personality: Bold, dangerous, daring.
Other: Preferably she'd be holding a weapon of your choosing and in a battle stance.
