Combustion Girl: I drew it in pencil, then went over the lines with a pen. And then I scanned it in! ^o^ Actually, this is good timing because I was curious about how you coloured the White picture. It looked very soft and pretty. 3nodding

Opencanvas 1.1. I use the watercolor tool.
It's free and it works really well with a tablet.
I made my lines with pencil, scanned it in to Photoshop Elements and fixed the brightness/contrast.

You used Canvas, eh? Are there any major differences between Photoshop and Canvas, because I couldn't see many differences between the two..

I use opencanvas 4 for colouring. It`s a lot like 1, but with new brushes. I dislike photoshop for the general colouring unless you have a lot of custom brushes to make things blend in more naturally. Photoshop I use for texturing and adjustments later one, so I tend to go back and forth between both programs. OC`s blending and painting tools are much more user friendly, expecially in terms of blending and for beginners.

I used Photoshop but only because I'm pretty lazy and I don't have a full version of Open Canvas. I'm more used to Photoshop, and I 'try' to be the same effects as the OC watercolor effects. I do wish I had OC though, it makes wonderful lineart. 8D
