Teagan's eyes widened as she watched him. She didn't realize that what she'd just told Ja'tel would be shocking and possibly emotionally crippling. She cursed herself under her breath.

"...Ja'tel.." she apologized quietly. "I'm sorry I didn't think about it before I said it..." She rested her hand on his shoulder, afraid that in any moment he would turn and scream at her. She frowned and furrowed her brow, angry at herself.

Teagan watched him sadly. He managed to smile and laugh in moments where she could only cry, or close herself up and be emotionless.

"I'm not sure if we have a way to contact it, or go back..." She spoke softly. "That's why I've been driven mad every moment I'm here. The other Outsiders don't seem to care...they're too distracted by their surroundings. But it torments me everyday, not knowing where my family is, or is anyone even thinks of me." A tear fell down her cheek. "I don't believe anyone would think of me now." She added remorsefully.

She quickly wiped away the tear and laid her head on the cushion behind her again. Her arms dangled almost lifelessly beside her.

"Do you think anyone back home misses people like us?" she whispered to Ja'tel. She knew in her case the answer was no but she wanted to keep listening to the sound of his voice. It was strangely soothing.

Last week was hectic, I blame that ^~^';

And actually, I've been considering letting something happen to Dev or Sadye. Dev would take it well...Sadye wold be creeped. Both could be fun to play out biggrin
