Mini Contest - Imagination Prompt!

What do I need to do?: Using the prompt below to spark your imagination! You can write creativly if you want, or you can just describe it, or even be visual if you want. It's really up to you how you express it. :3 I'm looking for imagination and fun more than anything else. Maximum of 100 words.

When I came to this place there was something right underneath my feet! I picked it up straight away of course, because I'm a curious one you know. I thought it was a piece of paper but when I looked closely it was a photograph! A photograph of my most favorite thing in the world, a baby-pink dress covered in lace and ribbon and made of some kind of silk, very fine I am sure! *giggle* So exciting, I only wish it were real...

But you know, I don't believe this photograph shows the same thing to everyone, because I showed it to a friend and he said it showed a type of fish that he has always wanted as a pet!

It makes me wonder what it might show to other people...

Archmage Zarael Terimas
Position: Archmage of Terimas Clan
Gender: Female
Age: Somewhere over 400.
Magical skills: I am a mindwalker and a dreamweaver. I can touch the minds of others, read their thoughts, show them their dreams. I also possess some telekinetic ability, but that's more draining.
Weaknesses: Well, I am blind, I can't fight or use weapons, and I find anti-magic areas to be crippling. Don't expect me to tell you all my secrets, though.
Race: Mage, the primary magic-users of Ethereal.
World Setting: Ethereal. My world is one of five separate races, separated into different territories on the main continent.


About your character
About me? No, I dislike talking about myself... though I assume I should make an exception, hmm? I was orphaned during the Megard War, as were a lot of other Mages, and was eventually adopted to be used as a demon's servant. He was abusive, and it only got worse after he discovered me sneaking into his private library – he took me on as his 'apprentice'. Because of him, I lost my eyes, and it was many years before I gathered the courage to leave.

From there, I made it to the Magelands, and was accepted into Archmage Terimas's clan. He was a nice man, most of his clan was made up of other war-orphans, and he treated us like family. For some reason or another, he seemed to favor me, allowing me to go with him on his trips to see allies, and as he aged, he sent me in his place. When he passed, it was his will that I was made Archmage, and his Clan agreed.

So, I have made my place in the Council, and I found myself aiding in defenses against my old demon master...

Death:
Ah, Demonmaster Lias. We knew that one of use would die at the hand of the other, eventually, so it doesn't surprise me that this is the way my life ended... I knew you'd use a cheap trick to get the upper hand, too. It's just the way you work. I hope I killed you, too, though.

Perhaps I should thank you, really, for giving me the chance to explore this new world... I love to learn, you know, so to be sent to a new place with my death, it isn't so bad. I just wish... Raine... my dear Raine, you would love it here...

Fate
Had I not found myself in this realm, I know my soul would have returned to the world. Who knows, maybe I would have been able to maintain an independent form, for a short time, paid Lias back for killing me, haha. After that, I would have returned to everything.

If I hadn't died, well... Raine and I, we were going to get married... We hadn't told anyone, because an Archmage getting married is a big deal, and we wanted a quiet Dragon ceremony. Still. He's been so kind and patient with me... I... Raine, I'm so sorry... Please know, I love you, so much. I only pray that if... if you can, you somehow join me here... And if you don't, I hope you live a long and happy life. Never stop learning.

Akai watched the girl with a disinterested look on his face. She seemed to be showing people a photograph. When she reached him, Akai merely glanced at the photo. It was only when he did a double-take, that his eyes widened in recognition. "But how..?" He questioned aloud.
He stared blankly from the picture to the girl, quite a few times to give his brain a chance to work out what was going on. Akai looked at the girl with a curious expression. "How do you have a picture of this child? She lived long before any cameras were invented..."

Man, I went waaay over the 100 word maximum at first.
lol I had to keep extracting sentences and changing things. Hard to keep to a limit. XD
