it may be helpful to think of the things you'd say to someone if you were talking rather then writing. if someone came up and said, "hey, you have an OC too? cool, what's he like?" what would you say. (and lets assume that you couldn't just point that person to your 1300 word bio. you were on a bus with no internet connection and you just wanted to tell the a bit there. you'd probably have 3-5 key ideas that you wanted to mention. you could also think of it as writing a creative essay. you have to base it on those 3-5 ideas that you would have told that person.

I'd be nervous too. I get self conscious talking to people about my drawings when they see them too. That has happened to me, but describing my OC's has only ever happened to me with my friends. ..and I'm still nervous.

I wonder what it is....I guess it's like....worrying that people won't get it, or that they'll just think it's really weird. XD If it does happen I tell people the truth, that I did english literature at Uni and I want to be a writer one day, I just think I need more practise first...:3
