RP Session Two: In Defense of Indifference


Setting Info

A Warship of the Peace... it seemed the destruction had gotten the eye of the Lady herself, not surprisingly. As the winged fiend translocated himself in front of the three Outsiders Danique realized that she was looking at Sky Captain Loresh. The man had a reputation... but also, as chance would have it, he was supposedly one of the only friends that the Justice kept. In any other place the coincidence would have been too much to believe, but here, on Serendipity, coincidence was the normal fare. Just like accidentally selling the very flower to insult a High Lord's niece...

Judgement by the wayside, Danique found herself quickly moving toward the scene, rather than away. She had to talk to him... she had made a promise. And even if the promise had been made as a poor decision, a rather futile gesture, turning away from this chance would make her a liar.

"Captain Loresh..." she spoke hesitantly, as soon as she was within earshot. The man was looking at the white haired woman at the moment, but she saw a flick of his eyes that told her he noted she was there.

Akribos’s hazel eyes narrowed in as she connected the male voice to the aero machine; her eyes flittering quickly from the surroundings to the destruction and the trio that the man seemed to be speaking towards. Furious and frustrated as she still couldn’t seem to recall how she had gotten here or the state of her clothing she decided to take it out on the man as she strode over to the group. Her voice a musical tilt of aggravation as she spoke loud enough for the man to hear, “Who are you? What is this place? And why am I here? And I swear to all of the God’s that I hate that if you do not give me some answers of your own volition that I will get them out of you one way or another.” Akribos wasn’t one to care about subtlety when she wanted answers. She preferred being blunt to being coy any day. And in the state she was in she was more prone to violence then diplomancy. Her eyes barely flittered towards what seemed to be a child, well young adult. The word “captain” had her brow arching as she all but dismissed the girl and waited for the “captain” to respond to her.

Sorry to interrupt, but I have two questions... have the details of the advertising mini-contest been given yet?

Also, would it be stretching things too much to bring in another new outsider in the RP? (I wanted to participate in the RP today, but don't want to distract or get in the way of the main RP story)

Wait... third question, I don't remember from the setting info... does a new outsider always have all their old injuries or scars healed? or is that up to the individual writer?

Pursing his lips, Laresh paused while the white haired woman said her piece. He wondered if she was human. Probably. A shame really, she had a nice jawline. Still, he wasn't adverse to a human now and again. Maybe playing nice would be more fun than a scuffle. Hard to say, really.

"Just arrived I take it? So, travel by choice or... was it, you know?" he gestured with his free hand as if motioning her to answer. "Death?"

Great... her. He noticed the pale haired human who was calling his name. The last thing he needed was to get involved in anything that was agitating The Lady. He didn't know how a little human could be of such importance to a planar traveller - which the dark woman who was visiting The Lady was reportedly. I mean, what was one ball of dirt to another, worlds came and went, the Planes were eternal. And humans came and went faster than anything else. He decided ignoring her would be best. For now.

And the RP is a free for all not connected to the contest, you can bring as many characters as you like.

The new outsider, if they arrived by death, would appear as you wish. They can arrive healed or with scars of what happened to them. There is no real rhyme or reason to how the magic works to bring people to the planes. Some of the Outsiders can be planar travellers who came by choice even.

Like, for instance, Zoe Katernon doesn't even remember that she died... she kinda just showed up really confused as to what was going on.
