I was the winner of last year's writing contest which landed me 75K...but I didn't really care much about it. Besides, I paid back some of it to Jasmine since I owed her for helping me buy another Kiki kitty one time. ^^;

Although really, Gaia gold is just pixels. They're worth the same as armpit hairs...something you could live without. stare

To be honest, I really don't care much about the prizes. It'd be nice to earn some extra gold, sure, but with or without a contest, I have my own reasons for writing my stuff. The only reason I joined is because deadlines help me write faster.

So in a way I'm not really competing. I don't see my writing piece as an entry for a competition just to win some fake currency, but rather as part of my own path toward bettering my writing skills...and hopefully one day make my dreams come true...

...And well, to please a friend too...lol x3
