OhmyGod. That.....that sucks. I feel your loss girl, I'm sorry to hear sad And don't get me wrong, I heart drawing, painting, all that good stuff too. But I got turned on to animation after I saw Transformers. That was the end of everything for me, and I knew immediately afterwards that animating and interactive media was what I wanted to do 3nodding

Anyway! Maya IS ridiculously expensive.....good thing when I go to college next year I get that software for free, as well as CS6 Suite xd

Just as a note on what you got rendered (which looks very nice) -- the upper arms are very short on those models and the forearms very long. Weird! At least they're consistent across both genders? XD

LMFAO YES!! The models look ridiculously stupid, but hopefully the color and other stuff within the piece will cover up the flaws sweatdrop I tried so hard to get it perfect too, I literally was hunched over my computer for a solid 3 hours rendering the stupid, I mean amazing *cough cough*, thing together.

And I did not get permission sad , however, I did find a better pose, so I guess it all worked out in the end!! I'm doing two couples surprised One is of Constant and Rusak (the NEW and IMPROVED!!!) reference I found off of DeviantArt....the link is like, two pages past or something lol) and the other is of N'Barit and Ami (I'm using the rendered image for that one xd )

YES!! I totally agree with that 3nodding

Visual Media Arts, it's a huge department (I think it houses like...12 out of the 39 majors the school has) and it's the policy of the department because they feel it'd be too much work. The woman I spoke to on the phone though said that if I want to at the end of freshman year I can switch into the other major I was considering, idk if I'll do that though lol

3nodding I see. We didn't have such huge departments at my school. Basically, each major was its own department... it was a small school sweatdrop Though the majors did have different focuses you could choose.
