Yep, the monthly prizes are really just entry prizes, all entries are eligible to win in the overall prizes when the contest ends! Also, yes, the first group of characters. (: If you get bored with them and want to mix it up in future entries, the other groups are available for that.

... why when I manually count the entries to I get a total of 101. ;_; WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH.

EDIT: 100. Found an entry that was in there twice!


EDIT2: I clearly lost count somewhere along the line. 100 entries is totally the correct number. It has to be, because I double-checked all the entries in the gallery against the monthly awards and there are 100!

That really depends! I mean, if you cast a fireball, it looks like a fireball... or if you levitate something, it just looks like it's levitating, electric magic looks like sparks I guess, and magic lights are glowy... uh... It's magic! It does whatever it's intended for and looks magical!

Unless you mean Daerinnid Chronicles or TBE, those are a little more specific. DC magic doesn't tend to come with any additional magic effects outside the specific effect of the magic and involves a lot of binding energies to objects and stuff like that, and TBE magic has a somatic component and tends to be low-key and not very flashy.

Pretty much every restriction on magic, someone within the Many Worlds can break! There are several admittedly overpowered characters in there who fall into one of two categories: are not inclined towards using their massive powers, or are so inclined and have been forcefully limited due to posing a threat to the health and safety of others.

And of course, plenty of characters who fall all across the spectrum where magical powers are concerned. :3 Any sort of image involving magic that can be conceived of could probably occur within a multiverse like the one the main group lives in. I mean, the entire concept of this sort of a multiverse is that you've got magical worlds and nonmagical worlds and futuristic worlds and primitive worlds and you can travel between them.
