He grades me harder because I'm asian crying
o_O That's pretty weird. You should get him in trouble for it.

OKAY, sorry for the delay, I knew there was something I was forgetting about how to do the monthly awards ceremony, so I slept on it and remembered: re-check the items for current market value. LE DUH. Aren't you guys glad I am giving you valuable things instead of the stuff that used to be worth a lot and suddenly isn't?

xd

Anyway! Two entries in November, so this'll be a quick ceremony, but to begin with, the chat prize! This Magical Girl's Black Uniform goes to perennial thread presence Bribble! Who knows what will happen this month, though? I don't! Hang around until the new year and we'll find out together...

On to the art! Kitara44 provided a lovely (albeit melancholy) depiction of the distance between Rusak and Constant. It brings a tear to my eye, too, Constant!

That leaves us with only one entry, the winner of the Brown Paper Bag Award, and even though it's been a small month, it's a well-deserved award indeed! I almost don't want to provide the image link, it's just so tragic, it fits the theme so fantastically and it's taken right from the story and... waaagh, let's just get the image link over with before I lose my composure any more!

For a picture so tragic and memorable, Bribble will also receive Christian Siriano's Black and Cream Blouse.

That concludes the awards for the month of November!

What's that? I am forgetting something? Nonsense, this is just the art of DRAMATIC SUSPENSE!

The theme for December is...

Sleep

Now I have used four different styles in a single ceremony. Let's go home and pretend that didn't happen. rofl

That is totally lame. ):

If it makes you feel any better, I had some teachers grade me harder because I was smart. Ultimately it brought down my GPA a bit and might've cost me my first pick for college. ): Meanwhile, stupid kids across the nation got in because their teachers were much easier on them and thus their GPAs were higher!

RAWRGH.

n.b.: It did not help that the only two times my parents were willing to pay for me to take the SATs, I was sick with the flu. I still did well, but if I hadn't been falling over at my desk, I'm sure I could've scored a good hundred points higher. My brother, meanwhile, they paid for him to have SAT tutoring and I think he took the test three times, not sick... I could have had a totally different life if my mother regarded me as highly as my brother!

Oooh!! Thank you! heart heart

Beloved Hunter

Thanks so much! ^_^ This month I think I might do a traditional piece =3

@Bribble: I would but we only have two engineering teachers in our school rolleyes
@Romesilk: You have to pay to take the SAT? o_o I've taken it twice already and I think our school paid for it (but then again I'm in a magnet school) But I'm so sorry to hear that crying

They have a waiver program, but my mother didn't want to apply (we might not have qualified) and didn't want to pay the $50 for a third time. For me, anyway. Obviously money was no problem where my brother was concerned!

x_x This is depressing.

Dapper Elocutionist

*ninja'd*

I had to pay to take the SAT as well, although mine ended up being $30. I paid for it myself both times, but I was super pissed because the first time I took it, I ended up with like 5 points below where the cut was for the scholarship I was going for. I thankfully got it the second time.

Although I scored higher in the Math portion my first go-round, and higher in the English portion my second. Go figure.

But, while I was there, the kid next to me was sleeping through literally a good half of the exam. ._.

On a thoroughly worthless note, I just burnt the tip of my tongue on my soup. D:

Oh gosh, I did that too! First time did better in Math, second time better in English!

I actually nodded off at one point the second time I took the exam, I was so sick. Just briefly, and only after I had finished a section of questions, but still. Maybe your sleeping guy was ill too!

I drink so much hot tea my tongue no longer fears or even feels heat! I killed it. XD </slight dramatization>

I did soooo well on the SATs!! Hahaha.... sorry.... I don't usually brag about stuff v_v

Dapper Elocutionist

Haha, that is something to brag about, though. :3 I did okay on my first go-round (I don't really recall my scores, though), but I wanted that 100% tuition covered. It was awesome while it lasted, but then the governor approved raising tuition, but not state scholarships (hurrr duuurrrrrrr). So my 100% wasn't really 100% after that. Which was lame to the highest factor.

But at least I got some of it for what it was promised at. My sister and brother just recently started college, and they're starting out with the lowered coverage from the get-go, so I can't complain too much about it.

I love hot tea. <3 I always have some available.

There are at least fifteen (and probably more like twenty) varieties of tea in my cupboard. <3 I'm really partial to anything with a bit of fruit or berry - blackcurrant, mango, pear... I think I should go make another cup!
