Well, not any contest that I entered. Just contests Ive lurked. And I could be exagerating.. but I was always under the impression judging took atleast a week in most cases. Bah. If I was holding a contest I am positive it would take me more then a day. razz

Of all the contests I've entered (so far um... two sweatdrop ) They've judged the day after all entries have been collected. Only those with numerous judges take longer because they need to get every judge together to discuss the entries. Then again, perhaps I've just not entered enough yet to know. domokun

I entered.. three.. I think.. the first two were done waaaay back when I first started messing with photoshop and didnt have a tablet yet either. Needless to say they were scary pictures. razz And I wasent around for the judging, I dont even think I knew when the judging happened..

So I could be wrong. It makes more sense if your going with the 'it just takes longer for everyone to get their stories straight' sorta thing. xd
