@Miyu:
Actually, again, it depends on the concentration of belladonna used. Same goes for any poison. There are actually a lot of poisons used in medications... Just a matter of tempering the effect to produce a desired outcome. (Botulism, anyone? Rather powerful paralytic that is the reason we throw away cans of veggies that have the tops bowed up. And yet people choose to get shots of it in their face...)

As for veging out, you might have heard the term before, actually. It's just pronounced like "vej." It's kinda short for "acting like a vegetable." biggrin

All that said, have fun, Harley!!

-blinkblink- I was just making a reference that I finally got the cleverness of Bella's username. I admit to not knowing crap about the plant Belladona or botany in general. Everything I said about the plant was just stuff I quoted from three sentences worth in a book I was reading.
But anyways, I don't think I'd want to know if they use poison in my medicine. Some things are better left unasked.

I've truthfully never heard the expression before. And I probably won't ever use it. But it's a nice little bit of trivia~ Like Donald Duck's middle name!

Yeah... I know... Just that, considering that's kinda info from my field of study...

Waaait... Donald Duck has a middle name? *Wikis* The heck?! Who the heck came up with the name "Fauntleroy????" *looks that up, too, while I'm at it* ... French/Normans in the Dark Ages. Somehow, this doesn't surprise me...

Wait..... what's the story behind your name? -mine has absolutely no meaning, aside from the meaning of the name itself- I'm not witty.

Hahaha, yes he does. I randomly picked that up one day. I have a bunch of random trivia that's no use in life~

Origionally my screen name was Wildfire Sephiroth. After getting tired of being unoriginal I created a screen name who took the name Sephir.oth and my friend's named Raye into one. Putting them both together I named it Serayoth and for a while was an RP character. He looked similar to this but not actually:

He was suppose to be not a spawn but the actual son of Sephiroth. Later on I started writting a so called "Novel" with some friends and Serayoth was one of the pratagonist and his imaged changed from that of silver hair to that of my gaian avitar. 3nodding

Not clever nor witty but has a story behind it

So was there any story behind the name Sephiroth, or was it just used in the beginning because it sounds cool?
Oh, that picture reminds me of Sai~ Ah, Sai... so many fun roleplays..... but too many awkward innuendos. Sai isn't my character though, he's my friend Hina's. He and Yuki just liked to pick on one of my characters though. It worked out so well, we kept him around~

Like a Novel based on the Roleplay you guys did? Because I've done that. -nervous laughter- Actually, I had to do it six flickin' times...... We were doing extensive roleplays between the five of us and it got to the point where we had create another board because we had too many pages. Then I elected to get it into novel form, which is MUCH harder than it seems.

Miyu-tan rolled 20 20-sided dice: 19, 10, 5, 16, 2, 8, 3, 13, 3, 16, 4, 7, 12, 1, 7, 2, 20, 4, 7, 10 Total: 169 (20-400)

Belladona Nightshade
lol. Did you also find out that my name is a mix of the Latin name of the flower & the common name for it? Belladonna can also be used as a simple sedative.. it's not just poisonous. lol. It's a matter of quantity.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh~ I've been in a weird mood all week. crying

.... -blinkblink- No, I didn't. Really, it's a mix of them? Heh, I'm actually more surprised that they have a Latin name and then a common name. I learn something new everyday.
Truthfully, I don't know anything about the flower aside from the fact that when you put it into tea you'll die~ ^^ I was reading a over for the fifth time when it mentioned the main character's friend drinking a 'potent cup of Belladona tea' Then the person who poisoned her was like 'Oh, that's a deadly nightshade, for those who aren't aware'. It took me a few reads to make the connection to your name. xD

Well yeah. Deadly Nightshade: `common name`
Latin/Scientific name: Atropa Belladonna

All flowers and plants have common & scientific names. smile

Like how a dandelion is the common name but the scientific name is: Taraxacum officinale

I say Latin because when botany became a proper science the first to categorize then were Latin. As you move on to later findings/classifications Latin wasn't always used so the politically correct term is "scientific"
