is it okay to illustrate canon characters in non-canon situations? Like, I have a favorite pairing that I draw a lot but they aren't official at ALL .:< Is that okay?

Is there text to go with your non-canon situation (fanfic, etc)? The idea is to illustrate something with only text as the description. You can enter it as long as it's not simply fan art. smile

Does the picture have to include a character in it? rofl Like in The Three Little Pigs, when the story goes "The first little pig built his house out of straw because it was the easiest thing to do", could I draw the straw house and the background and whatever (this is just an example... i probably won't do this one rofl )? Or do you want like characters in it, like the little pig should be included for the entry to count?

Characters are not required... As long as you base your illustration on the author's text it's eligible. smile
