That's really cool! biggrin Gargolyes is one of my favorite shows, and the price for the DVD sounds reasonable, especially for thirteen episodes. I'm not sure that I want them to continue the series or make spin-offs, since what I've heard about the third season isn't very good, but I'd be glad if they would keep in on air regularly. It seems that ABC Family is preparing to take it off, since they've gone from four episodes each weekend to one. sad

Ah yess, the third season. You must understand that the third season was NOT done by Greg Weisman. Here's the story:

When they started making season 3, that's right when Dreamworks started up. So Disney was all like "Our employees are just going to leave and work for Dreamwords ANYWAY. So we're going to treat them like crap and not give them what they need to do a good job." And because of that, a lot of people DID leave and go to dreamworks. So Gargoyles, The Goliath Chronicles was done by an ALL NEW STAFF. Greg Weisman wrote the first episode, the Journey, and that's it. The entire season had new animators, writers, directors, producers, the whole bit. Only the voice actors are the same.

What they did to the series in season 3 is . . .unforgivable. Greg is already trying to figure out how he'll dismiss the third season. He might even just ignore it and pick up from where Hunter's Moon left off. We can only hope wink

I pretty much knew that, though you did give me more in depth information. As long as any new seasons/spin-offs are done by Greg Weisman, they should stay true to the original spirit of the show, and thus, be good. 3nodding

Third season=strange.

I thought the wierdest part was probably the clones, who insteadWh of being named after New York locations, were named after Florida ones.

I liked Eliza as a kid, but that's proabably because she was the heroine. I also liked Angela.

The mists of Avalon thing was part of the second season. If you go to www.tvtome.com, they have brief summaries for each episode.

The clones were named after cities in California, not Florida. Brentwood, Hollywood, Malibu and Burbank. Those are in CA wink

And I imagine the reason is because the original gargs were NY. They didn't want to repeat themselves. I thought it was amusing.

Season 2 was very long, something like 50 episodes. Amazing. THe third season is pretty much all crap, unfortunately. And yes, We all pretty much only want gargs to come back if Greg does the show ^_^

I love Gargoyles! I watched it like crazy when it was on TV! I am so excited that Gargoyles will be coming out on DVD and I will definitely buy it when it does. I think Disney made a good decision with this one! 3nodding
