Interesting? Are you doubling all the way? Just curious because I doubled with Media and Psychology all 3 years (I've graduated) and I can't really do anything with it! sweatdrop

Ah right. What made you decide to do those two together? Never heard of that combination before.
Yeah I am, i'm in my second semester of my second year now.
The two are so generic in social science I should be able to get employed in the field.
My main focus is Crime, which really requires the perspective of both social sciences.

That's what I thought but when I went for jobs I didn't have enough experience in either particular subject - it got very frustrating. I wish I had done single honours...so I hope you don't end up in the same boat! I'm lucky enough to have a job but it's not where I want to be :/

To be honest, I did want to do single honours Politics, but I thought it looked a bit rubbish on its own.
And i've always done well in Sociology do I decided to do it with that.
The two fit together well enough that sometimes you can't have one without the other.
This gives me an advantage in university, I hope it does in the world of work.
Our lecturers always said that if you study one social science you will most likely cover all five (Politics, Sociology, History, Economics and Philosophy)
Well i'm hoping my first graduate job would be in the Civil Service.
So who knows.
