Adults seem to think that school isn't really any pressure.That we shouldn't get stressed out over it, and that's pretty lame.I don't get it how when we're not feeling good, we still get forced to go...but when adults don't feel good, they get to call in sick and take off as many days as they want with or without pay.But you see, it's not fair. They think if we miss a couple days, our grades are going to slip... but if you're not feeling good, you're grades are going to slip anyways. Do you honestly think someone can concentrate on school work when it feels like their head is going to explode?It also really peeves me when adults seem to think that we don't get that much stress or pressure. I mean, we have pretty much the same pressure as you.Sure, we don't have to pay bills... but we don't make money to pay bills, or i'm sure you'd make us pay rent. But we still have a lot of pressure with school. It's pretty rare that we get praise for what we do, and not get bitched at for what we don't get done properly. You know, when all we hear isb***h b***h b***h, then all we're going to feel like is s**t, and that's what we're going to give you. s**t. If you treat us like we're not good enough, we're not going to put out the effort. Maybe you could say "That's alright, but I know you can do better" instead of "That's not good, you suck" we would try a little harder. Maybe if instead of getting the good 'old "What is that? Redo it" we could hear a "Maybe you should do it again, because this really isn't up to what you're capable of" and maybe if you stupid ******** numb-nut teachers would allow us re-writes once in a blue moon, we'd do better. Some days we really don't feel good, and our dim wit parents still force us to go to school... If you're feeling sick, how well will you do on a test? If you're feeling down for un-known reasons, and all you can think about is figuring out why you're so upset... how well would you do? maybe if you let us work at our own ******** pace and not your ******** helter-skelter "get it all done quick but make sure it's good enough" we'd do a little better. Maybe, just maybe if you didn’t spend all your time giving the good kids the light of day, and blowing off the kids that maybe don't get it; we'd do a little better. Maybe if you'd see us for what we're worth, and not just a nother kid to mark, we wouldn’t go home and get bitched at, and maybe then we'd do a little better. At the beginning of grade eight, you do try your best, but when the middle of the year comes, you realize that there’s more too it, that your best will never be good enough, so why put out the effort? it slowly turns from wanting to try, to being forced to try, to not even trying at all... you see, maybe if the pressure wasn't so great, and the annoyances weren't so often... maybe if the teachers would look at us for who we are, and not a nother percentage... we'd try a little harder. Maybe if some teachers actually knew everyone’s name without having to look at the class list, everything would be a little easier... Because you know, we're not just numbers, percentages and letter grades, we're human... just like you, and your family, and we’re human. we have emotions and stuff on our minds too... we have better things to do than work work work...and to the parents that push us all so hard, I hope your kid shows this to you, cause this is a great big eye-opener. We get stressed too, we have worries too, and sometimes... we too need a break. Thanks.

THE EMO CORNER
This is the corner where I complain, and I be emo. Right now, I am being emo about moving away from my best friends...I miss themsoo much... I am going to try to make enough money this summer to get them up here. Gramma said she'd pay for one, and I will make enough for the otrher. I WILL SUCCEED. if I don't I will probably feel so guilty I will start cutting again...And no one I know wants that to happen..unless... you know, they hate me...which happens a lot...I MISS MY FRIENDS!!!And right now, yes, i AM crying! So ******** you all!
