ye, it wasn't difficult to make a catharsis avi. I just wanted to use the catharsis scarf hat thingy that they made as a christmas item lol. I actually made a wildberry avi too (for easter), forgot about that one ಠ_ಠ
oh god, I can't pick which one I like better xD honestly...probably fireside. I love dark reds. and yeah, vervain is really nice, tried to make an avi with that and rq'ed too lol
imo both simple and complex avis are good, just depends. I like avis like your current tho, like that style/monochrome, and pretty avis, horror avis too (just no yanderes...pls...)
and imo any avi with an onii-chan bubble is like ...pls stop -shot-

I actually even used that guide back then loool, but yeah, those guides are great (especially the blood/gore item guide emotion_awesome )
it's not really worth it anyways now, most of the time, my cosplays get ignored lol or they're not known but, I have no idea.
the one thing I dislike about color schemes is like, feeling like every color has to be balanced out and match the other shades, but, I've seen some people combine two color schemes in one avi, that was pretty cool!
I made a catharsis avi before, but doing like, miserable/confectionery, or vain/slushy would be fun. I actually tried to make a slushy avi before, but I rq'ed because of a usermade item lol

I like some of the recolors too, but they just make things difficult sometimes, especially with 60% item knowledge now /sobs
months back, I was trying to make a cosplay of a purple haired vg char, and all of the decent hairs were two toned uhgfgh (I found something a while later, though).
trying to obtain a no listing item is pain, too. big reason why I don't really make new avis anymore. but you're right about dress-up still being good! and UGH I miss tektek holy s**t - this new avi builder they came up with doesn't really help anything, besides different views of your avi/opposite gender, or ghosting to see an item. gaia needs to get their tags straight.
half the time I would give up looking for something, then I would find it, while I was searching for something else like emotion_facepalm pls

lol, those notices aren't even worth the small amount of space that they take on the homepage. same crap all the time, and I'm sure as hell not going to buy gc ever again lol
I did yeeears back, mainly to gift friends for xmas. now, I don't think that gaia knows (or cares) about what it even is, anymore. literally a hollow shell of a site.
yeah, that seems to be the only good thing now. at first I liked making avis, but I got tired of legit spending hours with all of these recolors, trying to make a cosplay, or something. now me and one of my old friends on here are just trying to get art of our stuff, way better ofc

think I'm fine with a possible freeb drawn on stream, though. I've been considering rlc for a while on tumblr, but the thought always gets pushed aside for other things. that and, I need to straighten out my refs a bit, I think.

I kinda lied back then - I mean I guess I worry a bit on how somebody would perceive my ocs, but it's mainly like, worried about someone becoming too interested in them...? lol
Idk, it might make me sound like I'm overestimating my ideas, but yeah, idk. Guess in the end, I'm more opposed to my ocs being posted on social media, but, that's shitty for the artist who took the time to draw for me too, I think.
I would probably be fine with streaming a freeb if you drew a request for me, since I do like streams, and I'm enjoying watching you draw, honestly. xD
