I just wanna say welcome, feel free to post, and have a good time.

Right now, i'm going to tell a short story about myself. You dun have to read it, but you might miss out on a fun adventure! burning_eyes

Owl Moon

I flew in the night sky, as the moon was showing itself to the world. But the moon was leaving me now, and the sun would soon reveal itself from under the horizon. I was flying home, to my hollow in a sycamore tree. There I could rest for the day, not being bothered by any ground creatures.
I was a mile away from home when the sun broke through the sky. Oh no! i thought, horrified, I'm gong to be a hawk's breakfast if I don't make it back in time!
I was an elf owl, no taller than six inches, weighing about 2 pounds. I've only been flying for about 2 weeks, and prey at this time of year was hard to come by. It was getting close to winter, the time when every creature will be hiding in their dens or burrows.
By the time i found the right sycamore tree, which was about a half a mile away, I suddenly heard an ear-piercing screech over my head. After being stunned from the screech for a second or two, looked up. There it was. The bird that was the worst threat to owls. A hawk.
Hawks were very territorial birds. If any creature, land or air, was passing by, the huge, fearless hawk would snap its neck at the first chance it got and eat it for lunch. Chasing its prey till the prey was exhausted, these particular birds gt very tired quickly.
It dove at me and I spiral to the right. Crying out in rage, the hawk didn't give up. It rose to my height, and started chasing me, flying at a faster rate than I could. My wings were already weak from flying around looking for prey all night. Now i knew that i won't make it back to my hollow in time. Th hawk was too fast.
I suddenly caught an updraft. I climbed the draft and looped over the hawk. Now I was chasing it. So I hovered over The hawk for a moment or two, then started ripping at it's wings. It shrieked painfully, then dove lower and away, panic-stricken.
Yet again, I set out toward the big, tall sycamore tree. The sun was getting to bright to see. I blindly tumbled into the hollow and rammed into the back wall. It was a nice, clean hollow, which usually clean out before I went to sleep. But I was too tired to do any work, and fell into a silent sleep.
