Sounds like you should go to a con! =3 I went to my first one, and anime con, called the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention.. It was a lot of fun- confusing at first on where panels were at and some other things, but overall- AWESOME! A convention like the Geek Media Expo, the one I hope to attend in November, might be a good one to go to. It's a con that covers all sorts of interests- anime, games, movies, television, technology, costumes, and many more! If you have some con-going friends, that helps ^.^ They helped me figure stuff out xd As for cosplay, Unless I get some fund to make my ideal costume, I probably won't ever do it ^^; and I just realized, I don't remember what your hobbies and interests are ^^;
Card battles and Game Boy battles? That's pretty cool! Unfortunately, I think the only way badges are earned is in actually tournament play. They'd be so cool to have, especially if we could buy 'em!! 8D
Whoa- 1500 words minimum?? OAO Yeah, I wouldn't do so well ^.^; I hated the way MLA handled quotes. The Chicago Style is the go-to style for historical papers and journals. Instead of placing the citations for quotes in the paper, the place superscript numbers beside the quote and place the citation and notes in either an "Endnotes" pages or as footnotes at the bottom, making it a smoother paper (and a little easier, in my opinion.

Why would you stick out? I never cosplay when I go to a convention, mainly because I would look horrible in a costume ^^; You went to a Pokemon Championship? That's really cool! Were you able to watch some of the battles? I wish I had the badges- they are really neat!
If you get a chance, you should play Portal and Portal 2- those are AMAZING games, and so much fun!!
I might, if I have the time, or just get a bunch of Gaia Cash, buy RIG bundles and sell them. Maybe ^^; I don't know the plot, but I'm sure it's about the Halloween event ^^;
Oh man, that's a good point! I can write a decent essay if it is about something I actually know (history, hobbies) but not about random subjects! OAO and 1500 words? Dang! That's a lot! What writing style are you having to follow? MLA? Quoting can be a pain in that, if I remember correctly. Once I started taking my History major classes, we used the Chicago style, and quoting is easier, in my opinion.

A geek con! 8D It's called the Geek Media Expo in Nashville, Tennessee. It's only 5 years old, and I have been going every year since it began. I want to try and have a perfect attendance record xd It is basically all things geeky and nerdy- anime, games, movies, t.v. shows, literature, music, technology, and lots more. It's SO much fun! Have you ever played the game Portal? The voice of the character GlaDOS has been there twice- she's really cool!
You've donated more than me- I've only donated 100k xd I want to save up more gold and donate up to 10 million (I'd love to donate 100 million, but it would take forever to raise that much ;w; I'd LOVE to have my character in that comic! *U* )
TIMED writing?? OoO I would die too! ;w; I remember my final exam for American Literature 2 in college- we had to write 10 pages in 2 hours 1 page each for 5 questions, then 5 for one big question. I barely passed with a C Good luck! You can do it! biggrin How long is a typical essay?

Well, most of them usually involve fighting of some kind. This year is very different- Gaians are donating gold to reach certain goals and unlock game features and extra items for the Halloween event. Of course, it's a LOT of gold to get to the good stuff xd
An AP English class? Wow! I definitely would not do well- I don't write well or fast ^^; Has it been a good class, though? How's the rest of school going?

Yup, I'm still here . . . kind of ^^; We don't have internet at our house, so I can only get on when I'm at school or a friend's house. We should be getting some soon though, so YAY! Then I can return to Gaia on a regular basis again- especially with the holidays coming up. SO excited about the Halloween event!
Yes, I still work there- I was promoted to a Crew Trainer! ^_^ Plus, i've been getting some overtime, because more money is ALWAYS a good thing! Right? ;3

Well, as long as they get some form of exercise, right? I got some decent exercise from playing Humans vs. Zombies- lots of running from zombies or to catch humans XD
Me too- and working for McDonald's doesn't help sweatdrop The free food is a great deal, though 3nodding
I'm too lazy to go get forum achievements, and some other ones ^^; I just go for event achievements.
Save up those stickers! I bet something cool will come out later! biggrin

Thank you very much! biggrin I had an interview with McDonald's today, and about 10 minutes in they told me training orientation is tomorrow and they had me fill out all the appropriate paperwork. I have my shirt and hat already, and the pants and shoes come later. They want me to begin Friday! eek Thank you for your support! I am still going to do a drug test for another potential employer, because I might be able to juggle both jobs and save up money.
That is a very good point! We became too over-protective (is that the word you are looking for?) and started using anti-bacterial stuff like crazy, killing the good bacteria with the bad. One thing my dad told me is, according to a study he found, kids that play outside a lot develop the antibodies to protect themselves from various diseases.
That's awesome! biggrin Were there more achievements besides those 2? The Unending Lament and the B.O.O. Skin were the 2010 and 2009 items, if I remember correctly. ^^;
It is a background from the Treehouse called 10th Anniversary Angelic Sky. It costs 50 Wing Stickers, as does its counterpart, the 10th Anniversary Demonic Sky. They are becoming very expensive on the Marketplace though, currently costing about 280k each O.O
