I'm doing pretty well, thank you. Just looking for work after getting laid off due to having done such a great job at my last place that I effectively eliminated the position. xD But not letting it get me down, and just taking each day one step at a time. ^^ emotion_hug Did everything go well with the fundraiser?

I think it's just as a safety net, given she just moved in with her boyfriend a couple of months ago. So if it doesn't work out, she at least has a backup place to stay.

It's alright. Admittedly, I'm just renting a single room, but it's within my monthly budgeted price range. The interesting thing is that one tenant moved out at the end of December and the landlord couldn't get a replacement right away (new tenant moves in Feb 1st), and the other tenant lives with her boyfriend in a neighboring state, so she pays rent and just comes down twice a month to get her mail and pay rent.

Glad to hear it. smile For me, dealt with two moves in less than a month (as well as constant house viewings in the fall) and also went camping at Shenandoah National Park. Apart from that, it's been pretty quiet.
