And ultimate boss like that requires you to be at your ultimate level if not sooner.
I had to raise Aqua at level 69 before I took another shot at Vanitas Spirit, until I send that dude to hell with his balls hanging on the dresser and with me batting it with my keyblade. That's how much damage was done with the Spellweaver.
I need to level up more before I can pierce the Mysterious being's tognue with a rusty keyblade and watch him bleed.

The Mysterious Figure? I took him on with Terra, but with no avail. I must have been underlevel.
The strategy here is to be equipped with a command deck of healing magic or HP restoring items, and don't get greedy in attacks, not even once.
