Well my brother told me something that poses a great elemt to this.. debate? If you are that cynical then tell me this... How do [i] you know that then universe is not bigger then our solar system or galexy? or how do you know that some alien ddin't create the universe for fun?
How do you know that the world even exists and that you'ren't just some dream? THt when you go to sleep the person.thing isnt waking up?
If you put your faith into a book of any kind... or a percived truth then tht's what is called "faith" you trust that its true...

How do you know that god didnt make the universe in such a way? if god can't act directly to humans then he would or may affect things around us.
You won't belive until you see or feel something... but if a doctor said that you'd never walk and a year later you were walking fine what would you do? Would you thank god?
If someone elses illness was cured faster because of their faith in god is that proof?

Yes, Some people even believe that jesus may have of been an alien who really know?
But I do spot holes in your argument one how would you explain the existence of water with no oxygen? becasue as far as I know water is hydrogen(gas) and oxygen(gas)
Irregardless of that the fact that life could come from nothing is in itself a miracle I'm not saying the earths in 3000 years old

I would like to believe
in "evolutionary creationism" In the sense that we were created and have evolved
I don't think you should take the bible literally that would be foolish as it is filled with contradictions, not to mention the fact that it was written by man.

Am I to believe that the universe formed from a single atom?
if god is improbably then I'd only imagine "infinite space" In a single atom would be even more improbable
But let me ask you this... are you saying that i'm wrong? that god does not exist?
What if it was god that caused all those events to happen? how would you deny that?

Well as a christian I do admit that my spiritual mind haas wanderd a bit but in my opinion
That's like saying "gays don't exist, I don't see them I've never heard of it"
I mean tell me how you'd explain a human forming from nothing literally nothing...
Even if man kind was not formed by "A man on a cloud"
I challenge you to tell me How a bunch of gas made me?
As far as I know my body is made up of atoms with vast space in between them
So why can't my atoms pass other atoms?, Yes I'll admit that
A lack of evidence is ground for disbelief... But if you can't disprove it
Then that is ground for faith

Well I'd have to agree mit most of that...
I mean when I see an upside down
pentagram I do gert alittle offended, the fact
that satanists use the symbols is even worse...
My brother brought up a good point in the bible it says
that you can only worship "him" And none others
Not that "He" Was the only god that existed, infact there is a word for
someone who belicves in more then one god but only worships one.

or you could look it it simple in the sense that... even if you're going through a tough time that you're dependance upon god will be rewarded in time?
I remember hearing somewhere "God scourges the ones he loves"
And according the the new testament the devil is the source of evil...
and in the old testament the devil is still and adversary to god
