They did indeed put a cap on the gold when they implemented the Gcash/Gold conversion in the marketplaces, and since then no gold generators have been released. In addition to that, they've been adding items that users can only obtain using gold so as to masquerade the site as gold sinkholes. As for Tektek, the people who ran the site weren't part of GaiaOnline itself. They were just a site that promoted Gaia, and Gaia was okay with that. The real issue started happening when Gaia ran over its dry years, in which Tektek- which was already crashing anyways- began coding some inappropriate material along with what we use it for. That led to its abrupt demise, and Gaia made a beta Avatar Builder feature to replace it. zOMG! was put together by a variety of programmers, which was great and all... but when people started tampering with the game, Gaia pulled it and decided that they needed to redo the game. However since the thing was practically frankensteined together, no one really could give a date on when it would be fixed. It ended up being such a big project that Gaia put it off indefinitely. Otherwise, they would put zOMG! back up for public gameplay.

Yeah, unfortunately it is necessary. I just feel bad for all the bears who can't come play in some of the gorgeous waterfall pools because of us people sad

I'll be in Arizona Sunday night and part of Monday! I've never really paid attention to some of the beef jerky places people keep telling me to visit, because I'm gullible and indiscriminately all-consuming when it comes to food... Is there anything you'd recommend?

Yeah! The badges are awesome this year! In the past years, they were always just a piece of paper, so it wasn't much. I attended the Gaia panel at anime expo, and they answered mysteries regarding tektek, zomg, the inflation problem. I'd be happy to tell you what they said if you're wondering as well. It seems that they're going over some really rough patches, but we shall see...

I walked through some of those touristy spots in yosemite and was just blown away with how little interaction you could have with nature. It was like, look at the waterfalls and stuff but don't swim in any of the water! Whereas in the backcountry we had deer coming up to you while you were pooping in the woods, swimming holes, no people and all that jazz... I never knew Yosemite was so awesome :3

AND DUDE~ Anime Expo has shade tent things up for the lines omgSOFLIPPINGHAPPY and they have some pretty nice badges this year!

I've been wanting to make a dress out of pokemon or mtg cards, but I just don't have enough duplicates >.<

What part of Yosemite have you been to? I'll be roaming Anime Expo from 4am Friday July 3rd until 2am the next day with my friend Megan, who also knows Jacob. We actually went with him to AX all four days the year before he moved! We'll probably be hanging out at the exhibition hall and artist alley until 4pm, then ramen in Little Tokyo, and then maybe a panel, and then dancing all night in the anime dance thing they always have. We can try to meet up or I'll just come and say hi for a minute if you're able :3

I think the most impressive mtg collection I've ever seen was in my friend's house... he and his wife has a walk-in closet filled with those white card tray boxes... it felt like I walked from their living room into a mtg shop haha razz

My sliver deck right now is 60 cards. I can go for a 100 commander deck since I tend to never use the same card twice in a deck if I can help it.... but I've never played that style before. I'm still a noob when it comes to mtg, you might have to walk me through a couple practice battles if you want to battle.

It's a battle plan! My deck is in New Mexico right now, but I'll be back there in July and you can choose your appropriate time of day or night. If you don't want to spoil the main players of the deck I will be using, don't go on my profile. I will tell you that Leafeon is definitely in there :3

I believe that o_O I have two boxes of extra mtg cards that are gathering dust if you guys want them. I'm running a sliver deck (I own every sliver in existence) until I have enough experience to run a more complex theme.

Noooooo, Jacob and his freaking habit of leaving things before he goes far away D: I gotta ask him and see if he has his main deck around so I can see what it's like being ripped apart by a pro xd
I wonder if there's like a way we could skype battle, haha it's been so long since I've scratched that itch! I'm a sentimental player who tries to incorporate my forever team six into my decks, so it's not as competitive as it could be sweatdrop

I have an mtg deck as well, it's just that I only just started playing it instead of collecting.... like sometime last year?

You play?! I battled Jacob once while we were in Florida, but he didn't bring his deck so I ended up beating him with some packs I bought during our stay. It's so hard to find fellow trainers who play Pokémon card games! I made a deck ever since and kept it in hopes of battling him again, but maybe I'll get to meet you one day for such an occasion too! 3nodding

i can't get to my inventory to change my avatar. the other site are messed up or not showing anything so i can interact with any thing. basically all i can do is collect the daily treat and use the pm or comment on peoples comment area.
