Loan forgiveness would be lovely. Instead we have loans that aren't even forgiven by filing for bankruptcy protection. Keeps chasing you until you die. And then they'll attack your family, predecessors or successors, until they get their money. There have been several instances of grieving families being harassed by debt collection. It's just good business. confused

Looking at artifacts and all seems neat to me, but I don't know if I could actually do it. I've been watching Life After People on Youtube, and while it's squiffy on legitimate prediction, it made me think how bizarre/interesting it would be to look at the relics we've made up until now. And lol, about paleoanthropology. I agree, though it's fun in a SUPERMAN vs. TWILIGHT SPARKLE sort of speculatory way.

Yikes. Mine aren't that steep,but I still would prefer get them paid off sooner before I lose the ability to make reasonable payments and get stuck in deeper and deeper debt forever and ever because God Bless Capitalism.

Huh, neat. 3nodding I used to think I'd like to do it. Or paleontology since I used to looooooove dinosaurs. Paleobotany could be cool as well, but mad paleobotanists don't make cool theme parks. Just crossed my mind that it might've been something you were interested in.

I'm hoping I'll get a job in one of the nation's national parks, but so far I've just gotten tons of rejections. If only I'd graduated a couple years sooner while all the troops were still deployed. That's terrible, but vet preference is making it a little harder to find work in jobs I want. Looks like I'll have to go service sector instead. Got student loan debt to pay. gonk

Thanks for the advice. I've been looking into NGOs, particularly Amnesty since they do quite a bit with women's issues. I've decided that I will go to grad school, probably in public policy since that's the area I can at least try and make changes to our political system and it doesn't require a PhD, which is nice since PhD programs are super-difficult to get into.

How's life treating you?

So, I'm graduating with a degree in psychology and political science. I have no ******** clue what to do with my life. In the US right now, it's nearly impossible to get in to grad school without ******** perfect GRE scores (I'm terrible at taking those types of tests because of my ADHD and Dyslexia) and the job market is obviously horrid. Got any advice? I was thinking of joining an NGO like Amnesty or something, or trying to get into grad school for public policy.
