I wouldn't mind moving if I had to... but even so, I'm used enough to living here that I'd have to move someplace where going to the ocean could be accomplished with a day-trip. I don't think I could handle living in a landlocked state; I'd probably get stir-crazy to walk on a beach after a while. ^^;

Oh, I see. Still, that can be a conundrum too, like deciding whether or not to have a backup copy of the program somewhere, just in case you need to start over and re-install it.

And I can understand that, seeing as how maybe more than half the people I know on here are either on the opposite side of the country from me, or are somewhere in-between. ^^;

Sounds like you might also have a bit of "new tech jitters". That's what I call the feeling I get when I'm trying to get used to new tech or programs. ^^;

But it remains to be seen what happens with my health issues, aside from the thought of going around in circles. Still, there might be some options to work with... though who knows if or how they'll pan out. ^^;

That aside, give your friend a sympathetic hug for me, and I hope things turn out for the best for her as well. ^^

I can relate to that as well -- I really should've run a monthly maintenance program today before I went online, 'cause my browser's been just a little sluggish... so I'll be contending with that today. ^^;

But I did manage to get a really small part-time gig at the local library at the end of last year... which isn't much by itself, but it might lead to other opportunities. Still, I'd be able to do more with the possibility of that if I wasn't still being run around in circles because of both the health issues and my insurance. Feel like I'm more or less back where I started this week, which is most of why I'm not in the kind of mindset I'd like to be at the moment.

If part of what you're feeling is from the work situation, then I can understand that too -- the last time I went on a round of sending out applications and resumes, it resulted in being pretty much ignored all around... and I don't care who you are, that level of rejection or invisibility just flat-out hurts. So I really hope for your sake that things change for the better, preferably soon.

I'm... doing acceptably today, but I know that in terms of mindset, I'm not far away from a slope I've been down before.

That's what painkillers are for ^^; if you're not allergic to them anyways, a couple of paracetamol tablets usually fix my headaches pretty quick. Hope things improve for you as well.
