He wouldn't be bullying them out of respect for kurt. He'd start up again with lots of pressure from the team.

I imagine it would take a good amount of time.. like 3 weeks. Week 2 he'd be slowly slipping back into the role and Kurt finds out like... week 3 because He sees a group e-mail from Rachel or something saying everyone needs to be ware and that DAve is not longer in their group.

How about we up the ante even more
How about when Kurt is gone Dave slowly slips back into being a bully, he isn't as brave or as strong at school without Kurt there. Kurt finds out and breaks up with him.
