Hello Paan. I hope that you are doing well. It has been a long time since I was on Gaia, but since I'm here, I hope I wanted you to know that I love you and that I miss talking with you.
Well if you read the Wikia there was an item called the Traveler's Locket that was used to travel between worlds. Apparently Alexander used this locket and somehow lost it when he arrived in Mayfeild. Either that or he was banished into this world by someone else and stuck there. Whatever the case that's why he was using the Orbs, to recreate the locket (except in a much larger scale) and get back home. Which was the only reason he helped Daniel because Daniel had a orb. And the orb he previously had (that was Agrippa's) shattered. Which Daniel ended up putting back together to get to Alexander.
But yes... I do wish he was able to get home.
Did you know he probably (this is just my way of thinking) might have had Daniel come with him to his world if things were different (i.e Daniel not being corrupted)? I wish that happened... I truly do. ;^;
Yes, it is quite interesting. Alexander can be found out more here along with the rest of the game.
Yes, he did have a wife in another world. Alexander wasn't at all part of Daniel's world, he's a traveler who go stuck in Daniel world and forced to wait until he can finally make his way home. And its not clear if his wife was dead or not. But considering that Alexander was prolonging his life for at least 300 years she may as well be dead.
And another thing thats really interesting about Alexander. His old body, isn't really his body. Its a husk, sorta like Agrippa in his body thats just hanging there. So, my friend told me that she believed that if you throw the head of Agrippa into the portal it gets destroyed and so does Alexander but since he's able to travel through that world does it mean that Agrippa regain his true body in the other world? So imagine if Daniel let Alexander go through the portal. Then that would mean that Alexander could really be a young man around Daniel's age if that was his 'original body' in his actual home world (poor guy was homesick for 300 years)
And the one reason Alexander looks old was becuase of this phrase.
Aged not by time, but by anguish.
