This is Neupow Gena, a newly accepted bard. He comes from a long line of bards and hopes to live up to the reputation. He got his love of music from his mother. But one day an illness plagued the villiage he lived in, and soon his mother was sick. She did recover but lost the most important thing to her, her voice. Now mute, she feel into a deep dispair with her only joy being her children. Neupow decided then and there he would become a great bard and sing his mother's songs again so they would never die, even if she did. He announced his decision and set off to the great Bard School where he was accepted.
